During English class, majority of my classmates pull out mp3 players, comics or just bend their heads to doze. Haha, it's more boring now since we're discussing King Arthur....too many knights, too confusing....

I like English! We just finished To Kill A Mockingbird, and now we're going on to study A Midsummer Night's Dream! We even went to see a play at Stratford, so it could help our studies!

I like English too because here that is the only subject you don't really need to study. If your english is good ( which thankfully mine is when you don't include spoken english) then you get good enough marks and if it isn't then studying more or mugging up won't help.
I've read to kill the mocking bird though we don't read novels for school. I liked the book but i think the end was somewhat incomplete. I mean all of a sudden boo radley appears and then he is gone without much happening.

Gah, the other day we were begging our teacher to let us watch "King Arthur" the modern version. She said there were some "scenes" there not fit for us to be viewed. ^__^

I agree with you there, but I still like the book. We have to read at least 1 'modern' classic, and one older one -we did Pride and Prejudice - for our GCSE exams.

A MidsummerNight's Dream is easy. >_> I finished it before teh school year ended. Lol, the teacher said we didn't have to finish reading it seeing the ending was deadly obvious. O_O... yknow, sometimes I really DO like my teachers... rofl.

English is also about reading.... ugh, stupid novels. >_> I just dont read that often so I find it irritating. lol

Yeah, thats the only time I read, the fanfics... my parents always ask me to read something, which I do, they just dont understand what im reading WITH (the computer) but they're dont really know how to use teh computer so cant blame em. lol

Fanfics are the only thing I really read now. Can't remember when I last read a actual book.

English class is all about grammar (turned me into a grammar freak, too many kids at camp are saying "me and blahblahblah...", gah)

for the moment, really jealous of my friend, who gets to spend three hours at the bookstore, I will have to wring his neck tomorrow..or just crumple up his art and throw it at him, one or the other
