OMG I am in the greatest mood right now! I got my braces off! Hooray! Though it was quite painful. They snap the braces off your teeth with something similar to those tags you see in clothing/shoe stores. Then they have to scrap the glue off your teeth to make it presentatble and then they clean it for you. It's annoying >_> but who cares! it was worth it to get it off after 3 years of irritation! xD

I know how that feels. I got my braces off a long time ago. I had them on for two years. After they were gone taking them off, they gave me a bag of candy that I couldn't eat when I had braces on ( Like gum, hard candies, etc. ) and a little prize ( lipgloss. nn; everything else was kinda.. cheesy and for younger little boys. )
^^; Even though I didn't like 'em, a got candy out it in the end. xD

I never really had a problem with braces. I just didn't like my ortodontist. He was creepy, and he smelled like ciggarettes and vomit [shiver].
I only had mine for a year and a half, which I'm very grateful for. But I had everything, top and bottom braces, spacer, elastics and headgear, retainer. Blah, it was hell.
But it was all worth it in the end! [grins] I don't have the nickname "Vampire" anymore, so it definitly was worth it!

You got CANDY! I got nothin'. My orthodontist is cheap. Bah!
