~[TRC Hanshin RPG] Immediate Peril: A Tale of Kudan

<< < (27/33) > >>

Ruby Chan:
Shougo lay still and unmoving, his wounds finally bandaged, with one of the nearby machines he was hooked up to bleeping out his heartbeat steadily. Those who hadn't seen his state on arrival might have dimissed him as simply sleeping.....

But they hadn't seen the wounds that lay under his bandages. They hadn't seen his X-rays.

Lying in his world of darkness, Shougo was unaware of the movements around him as nurses bustled in and out of his room. Occasionally faint sounds seeped through the barriers holding him back, but he did not respond to them, as he was unable to.

Instead, he just lay there, in a hospital bed, under white starched sheets.

Dreaming.

Hori:
Hori strode into the room where Shougo lay ...She stopped abruptly as she saw his seeming peaceful body...and his seeming peaceful face.

She gingerly took steps towards him ... To his side... and she watched his steady breathing ...

Slowly, she reached out to his face ... to his cheek ... touching it carefully and delicatly as if it was to smash at any second.... " oh shougo ... " She whispered... Tears forming upon her sad soft eyes...

Then she remembered.. sometimes... if you spoke to the person .. i might help them to wake ...

A few seconds were silent as she thought of something that might be comforting to him ...

" Hey... " she said softly ... " Were here Shougo ... Me, Touya-san and Yukito-san... O.. Our wounds are tended to ...And .. were all ok ... "

The tears fell ...softly and silently ...

" Oh Shougo ... You silly thing ... " She smiled sadly with a slight giggle in her voice .. but a sad one " Wake up soon ...ok ?... I'll be here .. and Yukito-san and Touya-san will be too ... I Promise ..." She slowly bend over to his face.. then realised what she was doing and pulled slightly aback .. then all the way back ... A slight blush apppearing on her cheeks.

"Ano.. The Doctors said that .. you had multipule fractured ribs ...As well as other wounds... But I cant remember ... I just wanted to see you... I wasnt listening ...  Sorry .. I'll tell you about it when I can remember .. ok ?"

Sakaki:
Touya felt his eyes begin to mist over, watching the girl speak to Shougo.
It was obvious at that moment just how much Hori loved him....needed him... and it reminded Touya of his own feelings towards Yukito, and how that could have just as easily been the one he loved laying in that bed unconscious...

Taking Yuki's hand, Touya stood next the girl, who's tears were flowing freely down her cheeks, her love for Shougo raw and exposed. "He's going to be okay... I know it..." Touya told them. Then speaking a bit louder, "You hear that, Shougo. You're going to be fine, and we're all going to be here waiting for you to wake..."

Ruby Chan:
"I'll be here .. and Yukito-san and Touya-san will be too ... I Promise ..."

"You hear that, Shougo. You're going to be fine, and we're all going to be here waiting for you to wake..."

Slowly, voices filtered into Shougo's world of darkness, lifting him up and giving him the strength to break free of the binds holding him back from consciousness.

"Huurrghh...." He moaned quietly, his eyes flickering open to take in his surroundings. Coughing hoarsely, he turned his head to the side, glancing up at the three people surrounding him.

"H...hori? Yukito? Touya? You're alright......*cough* Where exactly am I? The last thing I remember, I was flying towards the hospital..." He croaked.

Pikari:
Yukito's hand tightened unconsciously around Touya's. He couldn't imagine what he might do if it had been Touya lying there on that bed. And then, as if he had heard every word they'd spoken... Shougo's eyes slowly opened.

Relief flooded through Yuki and stepped forward to grasp Shougo's shoulder, unable to hold back. "Shh, don't talk Shougo," he said gently. "You're in the hospital right now. We're all here. You really scared us for a while."
