Watching as Yukito fussed over Touya, and seeing Hori pat her kudan on the neak before crouching to look at the injured men lying on the ground, Shougo smiled to himself. This was a golden opportunity - he had to take it now......
Moving silently from years of self-training, Shougo slipped away from the group and mounted Soshi, ignoring the stab of pain he felt in his chest at the movement. Holding back his coughs in order to stay unnoticed, he gently urged Soshi to move, and the kudan glided away noislessly.
Looking over his shoulder to make sure that no one had seen him, Shougo smiled as he saw that no one had realised that he's vanished yet. Turning his attention back to his driving, Shougo patted Soshi's head reassuringly.
"We're going to find Kagami, Soshi. No one gets away with hurting my friends and attacking my teritory like that." He briefly wondered whether to get help from Masayoshi - afterall, his kudan was able to find people.....
But then he remembered that Masayoshi had never met Kagami, so it wouldn't work....speaking of which, how did Yukito know Kagami?
Dismissing the question for now, Shougo focused all of his attention on the ground below, watching carefully for any sign of Kagami.
Kagami...I'm coming for you......these wounds mean nothing to me...I'll still take you down.....
