Tsubasa Chronicle...Clow reed?

well i just watched movie one of cardcaptors again and i just realised something...

maybe its just me or i'm just slow or something...but is Sakura's father in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE clow reed from the cardcaptor's series?? ]

well they kind of looked similar...so just asking~!

Yes in TRC, Clow is Touya and Sakura's father.

Fujitaka (sp?) is Syaoran's adopted father (I think - someone confirm for me?)

Considered it confirmed. So far (at least in the first 6 books in the U.S.) it's been shown that Fujitaka found Syaoran and adopted him. Syaoran knows nothing about where he came from.

it's tells a little more about it in the 8th volume I think..yes. And there was a little pic in the 4th volume of Fujitaka finding Syaoran.

I'm confusing.... Yuuko has said that she "hates" Clow, but which one?? Is the one from CCS or TRC. But also, if  Fujitaka was another Clow, so Yuuko has to be mean with him??? Please help mmmmeeeee.......!!!!

According to a book on the Mokonas (Larg and Soel) she hates the Clow from CCS.  Besides when she says she hated Clow she was holding the wand Sakura used in CCS.

That may very well could be. With his magicks, he could easily appear in both places. The anime and manga pics of Clow Reed in Tsubasa makes him appear much younger than in CCSakura. Perhaps the events in Tsubasa and the Kingdom of Clow took place before his creation of the Clow Cards, Kero and Yue in CCS?

man, it would be so awesome if they were the same person! cronologically it would confuse me, like did he do the clow cards, then mokonas then go and be king? my brain would be running in circles... ^.^ cool idea, though!

This topic gave me a realization. Not stating that it's true, but what if Clow was Sakura's father and he wanted her to be protected, and knew that he would not always be there to do that, and maybe he knew that there were many different worlds, he would find one world that another Sakura lived in and make it her destiny to become the Cardcaptor. And because Yukito had magic, he would create a counterpart in Yue and that might also be where he got the idea for the mirror card! This is just a theory on me.

Well Clow was kind of Sakura's father in both worlds really. Clow is such a powerful person, I find it hard to believe that there could be two. They seem to say similar things too.

It wouldn't suprise me at all if it was the same Clow in both series, Also, it was mentioned that he looked younger in Tsubasa, so it's possible that he was king, he could have co- made the Mokonas with Yuko,and ruled the kingdom and all  then gone to the CCS world,(I don't think they mention if he DIED, he's just not there, and not ruling)  then made the Clow Cards and Kero and Yue (notice that mini - kero and mokona's wings are almost identical) He lived there for however many years, then "died" and did the whole soul - splitting  thing. The only issue is, there are DEFINITELY 2 Fujitakas and the one in the Tsubasa world is seperate from Clow Reed, which makes things sort of complicated.......        but, if c
Clow and Fujitaka are or were in Clow Kingdom, then where's Eriol? , I bet he's there and we just haven't seen him yet...  Episode 8 comes out in FEBRUARY? and 7 is out in october, so I have to wait 4 months after 7 to get 8, sheesh!! plus, i have to wait 2 more months till 7, I'm going to to be doing alot of waiting for these now... I wonder what the hold up is with CLAMP.....*sighs*
