In my school, not that Year 11 had left, there is a grand total of about 6 proper anime fans.......sigh. And a lot of them are going off it in favour of *ahem* punk rock bands and other things that are meant to make them look *cool*.

*sigh* It saddens me that anime is now slowly becoming "cool"... Mostly because those people who think it is "cool" have only seen Inuyasha and Full Metal Alchemist, and all of a sudden think they are the encyclopedia of all things Japan/Anime/Manga... (I don't hate either of those series, just strongly dislike them, but if those two are the ONLY two series you like or have seen, you *probably* aren't an anime fan. You *probably* just watch Cartoon Network late at night and go to Hot Topic's new anime section...) Of course, none of THOSE people would be here, because Tsubasa obviously isn't all that popular or, should I say, "cool", yet.

Hmm..I'd have to agree with you on anime being more popular now.....
But I also like FMA and Inuyasha XD (except inuyasha is way to lengthy...so I've gotten bored of it)
I've finished FMA though....just waiting for the movie now. >.<
And tsubasa is way cool for us "true" anime fans. XD

Sorry Inu/FMA fans, I don't mean that anyone that likes them is not an anime fan, but surely you know what I meant. (Ex: People that ONLY know of those two, not only watch those two) But I still don't like either one... Inuyasha because it's too repetitive and predictable, and FMA, I really just don't like the character designs or the animation style... Not so much the storyline either.. Sorry, guys... (And yes, Tsubasa rox my sox)

I agree with you, AkaiYuki. I have a few of those kind of people in my school who have only seen one or two animes and think they "know all".
I just point and laugh at them.
They know nothing, muhahaha!

Me, I didn't get into anime because it was popular, I got into it because I liked it. I always hated to follow the herd when in school.

Anime isn't popular at my school.
If you like anime, you're a nerd.
That's the motto. But I'm proud to be a nerd.
And everyone knows I fight back. Hard. Haha.

Lol I have nothing against FMA and Inuyasha... but their endings just plainly sucked. (sry for fans >_<)

and I agree with moezy-chan and Endoh. That's the way it is. (lol...)

I don't know if I was a nerd in school, but I can tell you that I was a loner. I never hung out with the popular crowd or anybody for that matter. I was truly a lone wolf; I still am. Just like Syaoran!
