Syaoran's fighting style?
Okamirei:
I've been wondering...for a long time..what type or martial art (if possible, arts) Syaoran uses to fight. I've done a little research, did this and that..I've concluded to maybe a combination of TaeKwonDo and Kung fu? TaeKwonDo because of his kicking, but Kung fu because of his flips....
I'm not sure..what do you think? :sweatdrop:
aishiteru:
i believe it's tae kwon do. my godbrother does tae kwon do and he says that it's mainly kicking. so i'm assuming that syaoran's fighting style is tae kwon do.
oh mann.. i want to know what happened to his eye. haha.
sofiacardcaptors:
I agree.. I don't know all about martial arts xD but I think that shaoran uses the techniques of Tae kwon do o.o
Xiao_Lang:
yes! alright!
lol I have studied TaeKwon-do for 5 years and I was disapointed because I wanted to learn martial arts like Syaoran (from ccs) but there were no Chinese martial arts classes to attened. and now his style is much more similar to what I learn! (OMG Obsessed much)
I was really hoping everyone would say TaeKwon-do. I believe in CCS that his fighting was VERY chinese martial art influenced (obviously because he was from China and thats where he learned
But in Tsubasa, it is not. It is very much like Taekwon-do kicks yes. but TKD envolves some punching too. I fear though, even though I would --LOVE-- it to be Taekwon-do, that it might be closer to Karate as it is Japanese. Tae Kwon-do is Korean.(so would Clamp use it?)
but you never know, CLAMP may have decided to give him a non Japanese fighting style... or a mix of Karate and Taekwon-do maybe?
one things for sure, as long as he keeps up those flying side kicks and side kicks, I'll be cheering! :XD:
Syaoran is unique, he fights, well, in Syaoran style!

true about how tae kwon do is a korean fighting style but who knows.. CLAMP could have went, "why not mix things up a bit and have him use tae kwon do?" you know.. they go to different worlds and such so why not use a different fighting style from a different country? haha. i don't know, this post is starting to not make sense anymore. i think i'll stop. hah.
