Syaoran's fighting style?
Kuro-puppy:
yeah! been wanting to learn martial arts for a while but didn't know which
one to pick
but since Syaoran is Taekwondo-fighter (probably)
that's my choice *does kick-attack and falls*
Becster:
I know this isn't a fighting style, but has anyone seen One Piece?
The chef character - Sanji - fights in a very similar way because he doesn't want to risk damage to his hands (the chef's 'tools of the trade') and the spinning kicks Syaoran does reminds me of Sanji.
(I was so proud when I managed to flip a chair up like Sanji did in that episode after the fight at the Baratie had finished. Except Sanji flipped a table upright. I just flipped a chair. Oh well, I can practice. *MAJOR DORK**AND SANJI FAN* ^^...Ehehe...)
oneofthethree:
I'd agree with the Tae Kwon do, though I haven't studied it. I've taken Karate and know for a fact that the stuff syaron does is not anything that I saw. Kurogane yes, Syaron certatinly no. A combination of insanity mixed in with good looking kicks. There is a definate resemble in styles of combat from CCS to Tsubasa Chronicle with Syaron.
Mina:
I have absolutely no knowledge of different types of fighting but I always felt that Syaoran's "style" of fighting was his own... (or rather, Seishirou's... since it's him who taught Syaoran to fight)... he uses kicks instead of punches because of his blindness in the right eye. Had he not been blind on the right eye, he would probably use hands to fight as well...
or maybe that's how I think due to lack of knowledge in styles of fighting.. :sweatdrop:
Xiao_Lang:
well, I'd be happy to try to help anyone if they want to know more about tae kwon do since I studied it for 6 years ^__^
To be honest I think CLAMP didn't really have one dtyle in mind but many different ones ^__^
