I was quite surprised when I searched the thread that Deviant Art wasn't listed. I'm sure there are people here who have heard of it, but to the new people, Deviant Art is a "community" of sorts where artists, digital editers, photographers, painters, models, art students, art noobs, etc. gather and post their work. It's not solely dedicated to anime, but there is a large anime community there who post their original works which range from "pretty new to lines" to art gurus who want to make poor artists like me cry  Overall it's a great place to browse art--anime or not and I hope someone here will enjoy it
