I'm sorry I couldn't post this news sooner but it happened during the time the forums were down but according to this thread at AOD,
http://animeondvd.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/13067/tp/6/ starting on December 31st, 2006, the CCS DVDs will be out of print because Geneon's rights to the series are expiring and it doesn't look like they're renewing those rights. This really pisses me off as I was wanting to buy those CCS boxsets sometime. CCS is one of the best shoujo anime out there and my favorite Clamp series. IMO, this was a bad decision for Geneon not to renew their rights. I know CCS is an older show and it isn't as big as it used to be, but with Tsubasa DVDs coming from Funi just around the corner, there'll be more people who will watch Tsubasa who may not have ever seen CCS that after watching Tsubasa may want to watch Sakura and Syaoran's first series. But with the rights to the series expiring and the discs going out of print, those people who will have discovered Sakura and Syaoran through Tsubasa will never get the chance to watch CCS unless they download the episodes via Bittorrent and not everyone has that option available to them. Hopefully with the rights expired, some other company could come along and buy the rights and give CCS the proper uncut re-dub that it deserves. I know that's a highly unlikely scenario, but I can dream, can't I? If any of you have the money and want to buy the CCS DVDs, buy them as soon as you see them because once the stores are sold out, you won't be able to find them anywhere unless you order a used copy off of Ebay or something.
