People at school were going "We're all gonna die!"  -_- It was so annoying..
The categories are backwards, right? 1 being weak and 5 being strong..?
Gah, I hope my internet connection doesn't cut off! o_o

Lol, in a way... its funny and scary at the same time... sorry if I offend anyone, it's just the way I am... I hate getting too serious about things. :sweatdrop:

I'm not quite sure about it... I mean, no one really mentioned it at school... and I'm actually learning about Hurricanes in Earth Science (the teacher goes on and on and on....) and the teacher hadn't mentioned Rita. o.O

My orchestra teacher was all mad because we had to postpone the region help clinic. She was going "the hurricane's going to be 300 to 400 miles below Sugarland..." and then she started talking about how people where fighting for food at the markets and stuff o_o

Re: Hurricane Rita
« Reply #6 on: September 22 2005, 11:57 am »
Hmmm... I don't think Rita will do as much damage as Katrina, because the damage was mostly from floods, which Katrina was more powerful in making. Rita, I think, won't do as much flooding, but she have powerful winds. Both are very strong. I hope the people down south in the US will be okay!

Wow... honestly I haven't been watching the news all week, so I didn't know until today that this hurricane was coming. If it doesn't do as much damage, I really hope people don't panic and make chaos just because of what Katrina did. :(

Oh dear! I am so worried for everybody, this seriously has to be the worst hurricane season ever! Please be careful! Hopefully it wont be too much damage. Alot of people are worrying about the oil since there's alot of oil in Texas, and most of it will be in danger by Hurricane Rita! *prays* I hope you guys are all okay.

The hurricane seems to have died down considerable, at least that's what the news in TN is saying. I don't think there is anything left to worry about, although I understand it must have been frightening after seeing what happened in New Orleans. Still, I remain a little skeptical of the news... not about it being over, but its force to begin with. Bah well I'm glad everyone's alright.

Sig above is bLuetopaz's!!!
