Horizon High, Ryokan Magic Academy(Original RPG, Need People!)

She wasn't expecting this next thing to occur, as she walked toward the stage to continue her lecture she felt a sudden spike and jumped back. The ground under her suddenly broke apart and a sonic boomed rushed through the building, shattering the glass windows

One of the maser's moved and shadowed the students, the glass falling harmlessly on an invisible barrier

Julia turned her attention to the Sonic Master. "Whats the big idea?" She asked him

"You failed to mention 'US' the masters here," Baston said and out streached his hand. A spiraling wind appeared. "Now, for that it's treason." He said

She mentally rolled her eyes, the kid was a 3rd grader and already he felt he knew more than her. Should she mention how right now, an attempt on any students life is considered expelsion from the academy? As well as having there powers sealed by the person in question, being her. "Stand down Baston.. you know you and the other two masters have already been masters for a few days, unlike the mistresses here who've been around for well over a year or more." She concentrated something in her hand

"I don't care!" He yelled and fired off his spell

"Barusu Roddo!" She yelled and thin white light appeared in her hand, the whip snapped in the air and caught around the master's arms, making a perfect 'Hand Cuff' and holding him place

The spell he had cast went wild and headed toward the students, a nature student in the back got up, apperently a 2nd grader telling by his robe, and at how he had one weapon attached to his belt, the student said a few word's and the tree's to the sides of the assembly grew and intercepted the sonic blast, rendering it useless and causing the small particlse to fall to the ground harmlessly

Julia hated people who felt they where more important than them. Baston stayed there before being teleported out of the assembly hall, she retracted her whip, but kept it in her hand. "Sorry about that, apprently some people just WANT to show off." She said, she tasted blood in her mouth. Blast... the sonic black must've done something, she smiled and turned toward there other mistresses and masters. "I'll let Mistress Mitsuko give you guys a safety lecture and Mistress Marielle a lecture on the different life you'll find here, and what not to do with those lives." With that she allowed the mic to float harmlessly in the air and left the building

She walked out and toward a window, she rubbed her cheek and sighed. "Idiot... blasted idiot... seeing how I'm hurting I'm already sure a few of those students are to," she looked back toward the door. "Those masters are up to something, and I can't help but feel the other two will try something soon, being how the other two are Dimentional and Shamanestic magic users" she said and felt her side hurt.

She walked out of the building and into the cool breeze, she looked aruond, the island was big compared to what it appeared in the sky, storm cloud's surrounded the island on all side's and she could tell they would finally have SOMETHING other than the blasted heat spell that was cast on them. Julia sat down on the ground, flowers on both side's and she laid back, the flowers she knew had healing propertys but those propertys could only be accessed by a nature or white mage, she just sighed and allowed herself to drift to sleep, little did she realize the damage to her internals was more severe, and instead of drifting to sleep, something else more terrifying occured. She died

The elder was in his office when the sudden spike slammed into his skull like a ton of bricks. He knew what had happened and got on the phone. "Get a white mage with resurrection to the Assembly Building! NOW!"

"Sir! Mistress Mitsuko is currently over there right now, why not-"

"Because she's in a lecture! And I would rather NOT alert the stud-" he stopped. "Very well, send her a magic sign alerting her to Julia's condition, and send Baston to me at once!" He slammed the phone down

Orientation post will continue with Mitsuko and Marielle's lectures, once there done.. let the new school year begin :)

A whip of light appears in the caster's palm which can be used to attack. Unlike spells which are shot out, the movement of the whip can be more tightly controlled by the caster, improving the chances of hitting the target. The primary weakness of the spell is its short range.

Fai:
Mitsuko stood up quickly and took the mircophone bowing her head slightly to Julia and then she turned to the students,

"Welcome to the Magic Academy of Ryokan Horizon High. My name is Mitsuko Yamtao, and I am the white magic mistress of this school. You can often find me in the First Aid office, around the school or teaching on of the higher grade classes. Now safety is one of the most important thing in this school. Why? You are dealing with very powerful magic, and if this were to get out of hand, students could get seriuously dangerous injuries, or worse. Most of our older students know that, but as you can see.." Mitsuko broke off and waved a hand around at the broken glass on the ground, "Some are just reckless and don't care about other's saftey. This is something we do not tolorate. True, we can heal you, but there might be many people injured and we may not be able to get to you in time. If I or any other instructors and Misstresses/Master catch you, pushiments will be handed out."

Getting ready for her next part of the speach, she noticed a magic symbol, one that was not usually seen around these parts of the school. Her eyes widened and she ran off the stage, her white mage cloak blowing behind her. Behind her she could hear the students whispering about this sudden movement of their White Magic Misstress, she increased her speed and followed the shimmering magic sign. Coming upon a field full of flowers, Mitsuko examined the field looking for the body, her breath was shallow from running so fast. Finally seeing the person, she rushed across to the body laying down in the flowers, Mitsuko bent down to examine it and gasped in surprise to find Julia, who had just left the auditorum, "No...It can't be. It must have been the sonic blast..That stupid Baston, if I ever get my hands on him, I'll wack him with one of the heavy medical textbooks!"

She clutched the flowers and closed her eyes taking a deep breath, "Staff of Light and Life, I call on thee.." Mitsuko mumured and a medium sized wand appered before her glowing with light, "Fuse." she whisperd holding the flowers and staff together, the flowers disappered and mergered into one with the staff. Opening her eyes she took the wand and waved it over the dead body of Julia, "Awaken from the eternal sleep of death. Mitsuko demands it." And with those words, Julia's eyes opened and she was instantly healed.

Kasawa Lanford:
Julia got up and shook her head. "What happened...." she said to herself before remembering, she then looked toward Mitsuko. "Thank you, I'll be fine now." She got up but staggered a bit before regaining her composure. "Go ahead and head back, I'll deal with Baston and have him pay you a visit when the elder and I are done." She smiled. "Again, tahnk you, I think its also best you check the students in there.. that idiot 's spell went wild and might've hurt others," with that she walked toward a circle on the ground, and was soon teleported to the elders office

After the commotion at the school hallways was over, most of the students arrived at the greenhouse, where the nature class will take place. One of them noticed a vine moving around on its own.

"Ack! A vine! It's trying to get me!" The boy screamed as the same vine was about to wrap itself around him. That is, until...

"Uiruu Uhisuku!" A female voice cried out, causing the vine to halt and become limp on the ground.

The boy sighed in relief as he was safe. The other students looked around for the source of the voice. That was when Marielle made herself known in front of them from behind the trees. Once she stood a few feet away from them, she smiled gently.

"Greetings, everyone!" Marielle spoke in her gentle voice to her students. "Welcome to the Magic Academy of Ryokan Horizon High! My name is Marielle Aura and I am the Nature Mistress of this school. You'll usually find me at this greenhouse, or outside tending the gardens. For those who are participating at the nature classes, I'll be your teacher," she said merrily. She giggled. "Now, follow me, everyone. I will show you around this wonderful place."

As the mistress showed her students the different parts of the greenhouse, including the "Rose Room" and the "Sun Zone", Marielle began to speak about life at Ryokan Magic Academy.

"This magic school is very special. Gifted magicians come here to further empower and increase their knowledge of magic, as well as live here. This island, Horizon High, is very special because very few people heard about this haven for magical beings like you and I. Think of this school as your second home, as you get to meet new people with magical abilities like you. Ryokan Academy. There is no other place like it, so treat everyone else around it with respect."

Marielle's cheery smile disappeared briefly as a frown showed up on her face. "However, there are those who wish to know about this sacred place's secrets, only to exploit them to the public and take advantage of it in a bad way.  This should not be allowed. When you're here, you are expected to be courteous and follow the rules. But remember, life is precious and short. Don't waste it on harming others. We are part of a wonderful,magical community, and we should treat it as such."

Kasawa Lanford:
Julia paced back and forth on the floor in the elders office

"Will you calm down Julia," The elder asked. "It's not you actually left this plane of existence"

"I DIED!!! If that mistress hadn't been there I'd have been gone for good!" she yelled out of anger. "What was that idiot THINKING!"

There was a sudden knock at the door, without thinking Julia raised her hand and fired off a fireball, the door opened and a young man grabbed the ball of fire, which then floated in th air harmlessly before evaporating. "Nice throw, just next time don't do it so recklessly"

Julia took in a breath, "Sorry Enforcer..."

He shook his head. "I told you, call me Kalshion... I hate that Enforcer crude," he said," You called me Elder? Better be a good reason, the Mas UN has a fleet off our island about 250 miles north, I was ABOUT to use them for target practice"

The elder got up and handed Kalshion a photo, followed shortly by a letter. "Uh huh... so Baston went ape on our Mistress," he looked at Julia, "Thank god Mistress Mitsuko was around"

"Unfortantly she's our only Resurrection capible mage, all the others are still in training." The elder said,"So she's the only one we can call upon, which, as you probably already know, resurrection takes a toll on the casters body and leaves them rather tired"

Kalshion nodded

"I already talked to Baston over the phone, he still doesn't regret what he did... as our resident chief enforcer, what do YOU want to do with him?" The Elder asked

he pondered the question, then smiled. "Heck hath no fury like a woman scorned..."

"Huh?"

"In other word's, have him go to Mistrss Mitsuko's office, I'm pretty sure she'll have a few 'kind' words to say to him," he smiled

Julia snarled and ran out of the office, a tear from her face fell toward the ground below. "She ok?" Kalshion asked

The elder shook his head. "She's mad, I think she actually wants to teach him a lesson." he said

Kalshion nodded. "Tell me.. her file claim's she didn't arrive on this island as a 'female' is that true?"

The elder sighed. "That... is true... 16 years she.. was infact.. a he..."

Kalshion blinked

"13 year's ago, roughly three years into his 1st grade year, he was at his passing exam and was casting off a fireball, the weather turned ugly and rained, we had a rule about not tossing fireballs in the rain but he was determined to cast it"

He looked out the window. "What happened?"

"he casted it... and the wind flung it right back at him, we didn't have a mistress white mage then due to an attack by the Mas UN that got most of our mage's killed. In order to save his life, one of our scientist's made a suggestion.... his original body was destroyed, there wasn't anyway to save him then"

he crossed his arms. "You transfered his consenense into a female body?"

"My daughters body... my daughter volunteered since she didn't have any magical properitys, but knew the academy needed Julia. She willingly gave up her life, and allowed Julia to keep on living, his magic was transfered into his new body and she was born," The elder said

"That explains why her record is very skechy on information, who else knows?" Kalshion asked

"Only myself and a scientist, and you." The elder eyed him

"Where's Julia headed?" Kalshion asked

"To the training grounds most likely to burn some steam, I want you to take Baston to Mistress Mitsuko's office," The elder said

"Done" Kalshion walked out of the office. "Her... his.. whatever... there secret is safe with me," he smiled and walked out

The elder took a sip of his green tea. "I sure hope so...."
