It's expected, I guess... I always felt NHK is a channel for general audience. XXXHolic has too much scare and blood to be a kid's show, and without those, it's no XXXHolic. It'd be like X without the deaths

NHK IS airing the series. It says so on the latest hardcover.  :noteworthy: Same timeslot as Tsubasa funnily enough.

Tsubasa season 1 - xxxHolic 1 - Tsubasa 2 - xxxhoilc 2

To make things clear, NHK is still going to air Tsubasa, same day, same time. But NHK will not be airing xxxHolic.

Clamp-net is still saying the XXXholic anime is starting spring of 2006. But if the new Tsubasa season is starting in six months, that's also spring of 2006, so how could they hold the same timeslot?

I'm just going by what my friend (native Japanese speaker and a professional interpreter in Tokyo) interpreted it as. Japanese adverts can be confusing sometimes, even for native speakers. Often, they will talk about something without actually saying what they're talking about. Maybe they're rerunning Tusbasa next week and simply announcing the xxxHolic series. :sleepy5:

Ok. Here is the info that I have found on my travels.

XxxhHolic series is in production.

On NHKs site http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/tsubasa/ Tsubasa will be rerunning from ep 1.

xxxHOLIC will not be on NHK.

That is the stuff we know, then.

How will people be able to watch it if they're gonna air it at midnight?
