Not big on yuri, actually.  Its kinda funny how I like yaoi but not yuri, but its the truth, so Shoujo-Ai.  The only yuri I've ever read wasn't even really yuri, because one of the girls was Ranma, who is, in fact, a guy most of the time, so...yeah.

Yaoi and yuri are gay porn (yaoi being male/male and yuri being female/female), whereas shoujo- and shounen-ai are more 'innocent', so to speak. The latter two literary mean 'girl love' and 'boy love', respectively.

hmm, i have seen a lot of boy-boy pairs in anime *kuch* Yukito and Touya *kuch*, but i never saw a girl-girl pair in an anime.....

is it just me or are the girl pairings really rare in anime's :confused:

what about those girls on sailor moon.. i dont remember their names but they were sailor saturn and sailor neptune, sakura and tomoyo, those girls from noir, utenea. ... and many more than i cant remember.. oo those girls from loveless yamato and.. err.. well i cant remember their names but they were really cute together.. and one was really  perv.. i like her

i have to accept  that there are more animes of bl (boys love) than gl.

xD Actually, the lesbian couple from Sailor Moon wasn't Saturn and Neptune, but Uranus and Neptune, a.k.a. Haruka and Michiru. (Though there is a rather lot of Saturn slash.) And, of course, Utena and Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena. I <3 Utena/Anthy. There's also a great series called Maria-sama ga Miteru, or The Virgin Mary is Watching. I could keep listing for hours. There are actually quite a lot of yuri/shoujo-ai series, but they just aren't extremely popular; they're kind of a niche market, even within the fan community (which is itself a niche market). And, of course, there is more yaoi/shounen-ai, because that's what the fangirls want.

It's alright. And I've not seen the anime of CCS, but I've heard the same thing. It was fairly obvious in the manga, though.

Le sigh. There's just not enough female/female love in the world.

but there is not only "those" animes.. there are many more than maybe the girl/girl part is not that abvious but is also mentiones even only a litte...
