Ah, yes, the To-ya thingie. I hear the difference, but I find it much harder to pronounce it differently (though it does work if I'm focused). Another proof the body is kind of useless compared to the mind. Or maybe I just need some practise. Speaking of which, I wonder if he's supposed to pronounce it that way? I mean, since Touya's name is written in kanji, they couldn't have written it in katakana or something when Yuki pronounces it to differ it from everyone else's pronounication, right? So, sadly enough, I suppose it isn't a nickname after all...
That is indeed strange! Take my my friend mentioned above, for example. He, despite not having seen the episode where Tomoyo says she loves Sakura, had no problem realizing the nature of this relationship, but even after hearing the Confessing he wouldn't admitt that Touya and Yukito were in love. I mean, seriously, if all you've seen is *shudder* Cardcaptors, then sure it's understandable, but CCS?
