Sakura, finished high school. Never met syaoran. Never opened the clow book. Clow's seal and magic was slowly wearing off and the Clow cards wriggled their way free. Sakura was a clueless, struggling freshman at the university of Tomoeda, getting fired at countless jobs, trying to pay for her university and her father's sickness. Syaoran was succesful buissinessman, following in his famous father's footsteps. One fateful day, Syaoran was making a buissiness call when somehow it went to Sakura's phone. Syaoran realized he had the wrong number so lied when Sakura asked of his location.

When they finally meet on the street, the world went into chaos. The clow cards all escaped and were wondering and destroying the free world..Sakura has to try to capture them all...
