TRC merchandise

I know what you mean, Canada is even worse, since there isn't anything at all. There's a channel though YTV and they have a time slot called "Bionix" that shows anime, but I barely watch it since dubs just irk me. But when it comes to merchandise, especially in Calgary, nothing, natta, zip! I haven't found one store that has any anime/manga merchandise, I mean, I found a store for German chocolate (which is pretty good by the way) but nothing for anime. *sobs*
Bao_Nhia_Yang:
we have anime on cartoon network and kids WB.. but it's not like i get to see the cool ones on cartoon network! cause i don't have cable or anything...
Nyoko:
The only anime they show on tv here are those crappy revised dubs. NOTHING like the original. My first anime was Sailor Moon, and the dub dissapointed me so much.... blegh.... there is this one shop nearby that gets imported magazines, manga, dvds, posters, wallscrolls, and so much merchandise!!! only thing is that i'm still broke....
fisah:
Yeah, my first anime was DBZ, and the dubbing was horrible, like there was this crappy attempt to change the word "Beer" into "Root Beer" it was so pathetic, because the "root" was moving all around and it was so unprofessional. Dubs are the most devasting things ever.
I pity myself and my so-called country *glares at Canada*
lumizstar:
Yea i totally agree...Hk dubbings r okay i guess....but they always change the opening song which totally disturbs me...nowadays HK noticed the importance of anime and started to make commercials on TV to promote them, but i think its still not done enough, but the seiyuu are okay for the dubbing.
