Dragonball/Z/GT

I don't think there was a topic on this series. Well if there is you can delete this one. So does anyone like Dragonball/Z/GT? I grew up watching this show. I always thought it was weird that I watched it cause I'm a girl. ^^ But I just really think its a good show. I still haven't seen all of Dragonball. I've seen most of DBZ but not all and not all of GT either. So I have a little catching up to do. So what do you guys think?

i love its openning and ending themes of all dragon ball season.  Most of all, the GT season's openning theme is the best.  I grew up together with this anime and its been part of my childhood memories. My favorite characters are Trunks and chibi Gouku
  Many anime are inspired by this series and one among them is bleach.  For example Don Kanouji is like a counter part of Mr Satan.  Their roles are the same and usually use to crack jokes for audience pleasures.

I love it.
I have seen all of Dargonball (except for the red and blue saga) and most of Dragonball Z (all the way upto the Majin Buu saga) and I have all of Dragonball GT except I havn't watched them yet. I also have all the movies of Dragonball Z and the Dragonball GT Movie. I also have a Dragoball Z Fan Character by the name of Vex (when fused with my other character Cosnett he becomes VexNet, hence my username also I have Vex in my signature picture aswell, He is the Saiyajin in White).

Cell saga was also one of my fav sagas too, When Gohan went SSJ2 and killed Cell <3
Gohan is my favorite character out of all the seasons, I wish I could take after and be more like him (even tho in my head I see myself most like him out of all the DB/Z/GT people). I also based Vex off of Gohan.

In my opinion it's one of the best animes out there still. Plus it makes one hell of a videogame, I love and have Dragonball Z Budokai 2 & 3, I also have Dragonball Z Goku's Story 2 for the GBA. I also plan on getting the new Dragonball Z fighting game for the PSP. If I get a Nintendo DS I will be importing Shonen Jump Star aswell because it has Goku and Naruto in it.

I also agree that it's so good to inspire other shows like Bleach and one of my other favorite shows Naruto.

Despite what a lot of people say about the show being too long and  too boring with many fights lasting several episodes (or an entire saga) I must state that this is one of the shows strengths aswell, I was watching them and never got bored of seeing them battle it out, If you don't like it, turn over and don't complain. I read a review somewhere also stating that the long battles are good in a way that the reader/viewer feels some of the strain of the badguy not dying and you wanting to beat him a lot but your just simply not strong enough (a lot like an RPG game before a boss sometime, It strives you to try harder) and keeps you watching to know how it ends.

I know one scene that is kinda stuck in my head, During the Majin Buu saga (or maybe the fusion or just before it.. ) when Goku is trying to teach Goten and Chibi-Tunks how to fuse and he gets Piccolo to demonstrate it and he gets really embarrased, then when Goku leaves Piccolo tries get another to demonstrate it and everyone runs off XD I found that funny.

well.. i watched all the episodes when goku was little.. and the z season, just some.. specially when gohan was still a baby.. aww he looked so sweet ><.
but the rest.. nah... i found a little boring to watch the GT season cuz i dislike a little that little girl.. gohan's daugther

I didn't like Pan either (i've only seen the first 10 episodes of GT)
but she was very annoying, I don't like girls like Pan.

Well I still think she's super cute. She's also so curious about everything. Like in the first few episodes she sneaks into the spaceship and leaves when Goku and Trunks get on. ^^ Well yeah Gohan and Videl are so adorable! Videl kicks butt So which do you guys like better? The dubbed or the japanese? I'd say the dub for now since that's really the only version I've seen. They're were a few iffy's but I still think Funi did a good job dubbing it. What do you all think?

I don't like the Japanese version, The Uncut Redubbed Dragonball series is really good. Two thumbs up!
The french version was actually quite good too (I downloaded a few French episodes with english subs of Vegeto fighting Super Buu, Man those Potara Earrings are cool XD)

Wow really? Most people I figured would pick the japanese version. I'll always love the english version. I'm glad they went and dubbed over all the 50 or so episodes again. I hated the canadian voice actors. :/ Funi's voice actors have really grown on me. *sniff* Lol. The only thing I don't like about the english version is how they play that annoying rock music all the time in the background of the movies. I just really don't think that's necessary.

50? They redid the entire series.
In fact they are still releasing the DVDs now, I think the next lot are released in March.

Well I know that Funi went back and redubbed all of the episodes that the canadian voice actors had done previously. I think they're still releasing the uncut dvds now.

especially for a small portable game, yes they do
It has multiplayer aswell so IF I somehow make friends, I'll be able to play them at it, Along with a bunch of othe games.

Shame that the other DBZ Games for the PS2 etc were not Online game play, That would be awesome! Or even better the games should have create a character! Then I could create Vex in true DBZ Style
