charcoalz:
wow...those are some expensive DVD's....
Shiunu:
--- Quote from: Strawberry on March 20 2006, 05:01 am ---Nope, it costs $84.67 each, so if you want to buy both of the movies it will cost you $169.34!!!!!
That's definitely way too expensive >.<", however I heard that it's jam packed with extras and you get cards, booklets and other stuff exclusive to those DVD's so I was wondering has anyone got more info on them?

Oh wow. There's no way I'd spend that much per movie..
Strawberry:
--- Quote from: Okamirei on March 20 2006, 05:16 am ---you'll have to ask the expert Arcademan-sama :sweatdrop:
Demo, they seem pretty decent to me, and Japanese DVDs are always expensive..
--- End quote ---
Ah well, might as well wait for Arcademan to reply
And yeah Japanese DVD's are always expensive, but I most of my Japanese DVD's which I got are between $40-$60, but I never got anything which costs about $84 !!!
--- Quote from: Ando on March 20 2006, 05:09 am ---I'm bot sure, but maybe the exta material contains the Video Diaries? Those are three very short movies (about five minutes each) filmed by Tomoyo. It's just a guess, though.

Ah, that would be cool if there is those stuff, just got to wait for someone to reply if they have got those DVD's... thats if anyone has got them lol.
Cardcaptor Takato:
The Tomoyo Video Diaries are special "gifts" you got if you collected all the Japanese laserdiscs for CCS. They aren't apart of the R2 releases of the movies. If you want to know what extra features are on the R2 DVDs, you can just check CD Japan. Here's the extras on the first movie DVD: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BCBA-315 and here's the extras on the second movie DVD: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BCBA-661 Other than the booklets and cards, there doesn't really look to be any major difference between the R2 and R1 DVDs, so unless you can find the R2 DVDs for a cheaper price, I really don't see the point of buying them when you can get essentially the same disc minus the booklets and cards for a cheaper deal by buying the American release.
Strawberry:
Ah! thanks CC Takato, though the problem is that I'm not from the US or Canada, so I don't have a R1 player. My DVD player only plays R2, so unless I can get a R1 player, then I would have definitely go for the American versions. I just wanted to know if the Japanese versions are worth getting since they are expensive, but if they are not then I would just have to stick to the bootleg ones.
