Not just mother, his father as well (remember, Fujitaka-san is only his adoptive father).... assuming he has any parents...

Hm.. good point! That really makes me wonder now. I'm betting its still Nadeshko. But I don't know that for a fact, since Fujitaka isn't her father in TRC. He's Syaoran's... lol

Or.... it could be that lady/witch in 1st CCS movie... the one that called Sakura to Hong Kong thinking it was Clow. Even though that wasn't originally in the manga... CLAMP may have decided to use that character.... and Fujitaka-san could still have been married to Nadeshiko in TRC, except she died before Syaoran showed up...

that really twists things o.O

As I was rereading Vol. 10 of CCS... on the side of a page there was information about Clow Reed, and it said what he liked was sweet stuff and alcohol... I instantly thought of Yuuko when I read that... XD

Who knows? But it seems unlikely. Clow has dark hair, and so does Yuuko, so unless they had recessive lighter gen-NO. NO. NO BIOLOGY ON MY EASTER HOLIDAYS. NOOOOOOOO.

I don't think it would be Nadeshiko, because if Nadeshiko exists/existed in the Kingdom of Clow, than CLAMP would have probabaly put her with Fujitaka, since so far they seem very reluctant to break up canon couplings.

Yuuko would be kind of hard to explain...did she travel worlds to hook up with Clow? I don't think it's Yuuko (though that would be a fun twist).

Hm...I dunno...

I've always had a thing for Yuuko/Clow too. ^^ They are so evilly perfect for each other. But no, I don't think Yuuko is actually Sakura's mother... Doesn't seem to fit somehow. I actually think it would be more likely that Yuuko would be Watanuki's mother, and I am perfectly convinced that she isn't Watanuki's mother. And I think Nadeshiko would be with Fujitaka as well, not with Clow. CLAMP does seem to have a fetish for soulmating couples, but Clow himself was never actually given a soulmate in CCS. Fujitaka was given Nadeshiko and Eriol was given Kaho, but Clow was left alone. Then again, he was dead. ^^; But I can't see Clow marrying for convenience, just to create children, so he must have loved whoever gave birth to Sakura and Touya. Egads, it just gets more and more confusing... Maybe they'll leave it open. After all, Kamui's father has never been revealed. w00t for immaculate conception! ^^

I sense that at the end of TRC it will be a very very big surprise...I sometimes think that fei wong could be from syao's family...but syao hasn't asked himself yet who's his true mother and father!! :angry:

I think Sakura's mother will still be Nadeshiko.  I just couldn't see CLAMP going another way on that, but something I noticed about TRC is that things aren't as they appear.  Everyone is searching for Sakura's memories, but Syaoran's memories cause the biggest plot twists.  I think that the group will eventually encounter Syaoran's real parents.  I just don't think that it will be a happy reunion.

Yep, interesting dicussion lol. I don't think Sakura's mother will ever be mentioned in TRC.
Fujitaka is Syaoran's father, which I was surprised about because in CCS Syaoran's father has passed away, also I almost got confused because I thought it was Sakura's father since he was her father in CCS.
There is a slight chance that her mother mught still be Nadeshiko, but only CLAMP has got the answer...

But in volume one of the XXXholic manga, Yuuko already knew that she was going to meet Sakura and Shaoran and that she already knew they were from a different world, so I don't think she would be surprised if she was her mother.  I just thought of something.  What if Sakura and Shaoran turned out to have the same mother? o.O

Well if Fujitaka is a Clow reincarnation, they just might!  :heh:  Is Syaoran still Chinese and Sakura Japanese in Tsubasa? Well, I guess Sakura's "Clowese" or something.

i think that maybe sakura's mom died when she was very young (like in ccs) and i do NOT think that clow and yuko were a coule (on a holic fansite it said that yuko hates clow (she calls him a creep/evil in the manga) cuz perhaps clow broke herheart (clow from her wolrd, not sakura's world) also, on that fansite it mentioned that clow reed as a womanizer XD (again, probably not sakura's father, but the ccs clowreed)

Well if a fansite said so. ;) Yuko calls him a creep but that doesn't mean that she hates him. Also I'm not sure where the womaniser bit came from. There's not much evidence of that at all. Especially with the guy being dead.

I never really thought of Sakura's mother. Neither did I think of Syaoran's real parents, to be honest. Okay, so maybe I DID wonder onse before, but never put much thought into it. I really have no idea who it could be... I don't think it's Yuuko or Nadeshiko or Madoshi... Yeah, I'll agree the people who said CLAMP would leave it open.
