i didn't really SEE fai's tears though

I don't think Fai *is* crying. At least, there's no proof that he is. He just collapsed in a kind of overwhelmed/despair/desperation reaction. That's what I see, at least.

That was the best chapter ever!! I wanted so much more though! it seemed like a release, we were all waiting for someone to bring up the magic bit and it finally happened, thank goodness!

Kurogane always says things like 'this doesn't concern me' and 'none of my business' (well, somewhat along those lines

)...
But yet- despite his stance of indifference- he is always the one who notices the tiniest, most insignificant details, and pieces them together to form the big picture.

...And then he takes a giant hammer and hits the nail very violently on the head. xD As seen from when he discovers Syaroran's blindness in one eye, and now Fye.

Uhuhu, 'none of my concern' eh? Uhuhuhu. *evil laughter*

I love it though, they are both saying the opposite of what they are doing/wanting; As Kuro is giving Fai the 3rd degree, his actions saying "Tell me everything," he proclaims over and over that it isn't any of his business, while Fai is desperately wanting to answer Kuro, desperate for Kuro to care, he says over and over, "Don't worry about me." They are both saying the last thing they want to say,

and it makes me go SQUEEE!

Very very good point. You know what it says to me? It says CANON!
Still, I could be misinterpreting it.

He indirectly does say he cares about Fai.... when Kuro is leaving, he says "he doesn't care", but it's not Fai in general that he doesn't care. It's Fai's past that he doesn't care about. So he does care about current Fai... enough to tell him to get himself together.

I've become Fai x Kurogane fangirl afte this chapter XD

Heh heh, I thought the same thing when Kuro said that! I wish Fai's face would have been a little happier after it, though! XD

I'm not a kuroxfai fan, but I love this chapter ^^
Luv Fai more than before, honestly, when fai is angst it's so much much much much much much much much much much much cooler !!!!! I luv those last pages - when fai fall down and hold his face.

I HAAAAd a lovely little fangirlish rant about the chaptire, and then the forums wouldn't let me post. *sigh*

But all I'm going to say is, that CLAMP could drag this out quite a while longer... I mean, how many worlds will it take for Evil Syaoran to catch up to them? Could take a while. He could have to go through and kill all the people they've encountered to get information...

Oh yesh. It's going to get fun now.
