CLAMP's Famous Works > Season 1
[TRC] Episode 25: The Ultimate Game
Keruberus:
Yeah, when I watched the preview I was really afraid about a supposed end of the TV series..... But thinking about it, it couldn't be, there are left so many things to explain, like the other feathers like the seichiro-san one, the past of Fye and all. The worst will be wait till April 2006 to continue the series (as I saw in the link of Pikari's post). Let's wait for a great series that is a Clamp especiality.
fisah:
*laughs* Yeah, probably I am thinking too much, its just that seeing Fei Wong alot in teh preview made it seem like the final battle or something. Usually, he has only few cameos, which are even hardly adderessed. Him and the evil chick just say how distracting they are, and how their plans are "different", or something. Its odd seeing him and the same goonies from the opening in the preview.
Also, the 'final wish' is such a bad omen! *sobs* I mean, 'the wish' would've been okay but 'final wish'?! That is so horrible, I mean, how about if she wishes for her memories back? I know I already said this, but I have a feeling she might >.<
Also, if a new season would happen, wouldn't you think NHK or even Bee Train would've announced it by now? Though the trading card info is really proof worthy, I think about now, the companies should've made a statement or something. Usually for animes that have new seasons, they are told *months* before. I'm pretty sure that's how CCS was....
I really dont know, hehe, but the preview had so much *original* material, so yeah, kind of scary thinking about it. Plus, if they were to really *end now*, I think episode 25 would be the better place; because, they just left Edonis/Otou right? So what's the point of starting a new world if its the last episode of the season? Frankly, if they were to make a new season, I think stopping at Edonis, giving the usual Shonen farewell, and some other jazz would be a better *conclusion* rather than starting a brand new world. So how does that fit into the preview?
If they were to continue to the manga storyline, they wouldn't have the clone revealed, Fei Wong Reed shown more than usual, and a 'final wish'. That's why I think this is the last episode of the series TRC. I hope I dont come off too standoff-ish, but I really hope I'm proved wrong. Original material is usually a sign of somethign differnt than the manga.
But, please dont let it be!
KatanaJon:
I heard months ago that there would be two more seasons.
Not sure where it came from, but a lot of sites picked up the info.
Jonny:
They better not end it!! Or I'll fly over to Japan and.........and...........beg them to give us more????
But on the topic of this episode: Loved it. Absolutely loved it. I thought it was really funny when Fai was cheering Kuro on. (Ewww, Fai the cheerleader. Very strange.)
miharu_yuki:
i totally L-O-V-E this episode!!! :okay: Syaoran and his Hien sword was just.... indescribable :noteworthy:
And I especially love the part where they twisted fr the manga... that Sakura knows just how important she is to Syaoran. All these wonderful S+S moments were not in the manga!!!!
I really really hope there'll be a follow up season to this.... I need to watch more Tsubasa!! But the revelation of the "glass-container" Syaoran was totally out of pace with the manga... I wonder what kind of route this anime is going to follow... and the evil girl... what did she meant with what she said in the end??! :surprised: The possibilities are so exciting!! There's just so many adventures for them ahead... I hope that the last episode for this season will be super duper exciting.
My contemplation of Sakura's wish is that she wants to remember everything about Syaoran from now on? Cause I believe Yuuko's deal stays... all her past memories of Syaoran will never return.... but Yuuko said nothing about the memories that she will have with Syaoran in the present time? omg... I just can't wait till next week to watch the season finale!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
