I kinda liked Samurai Warriors before (most especially Honda, who's probably a bulkier version of DW's Guan Yu), but the gameplay just seemed too slow. Still, if I am to choose between playing as either Honda or Guan Yu, I'll pick Guan Yu hands down XD.

Nah... I'll always prefer SW's Jap voices and dialogue. Unfortnately it's always been a butt of jokes among my folks because some of the lines sound hilariously vulgar or obscene.

Dynasty Warriors was rendered in Jap too, and the language had a more hilarious effect of the characters (probably the reason why Koei stuck with English, other than the mystery of how medieval-era Chinese learned Japanese).

they all sound like games you can't get in Europe, the only ones you can get here is Ikaruga and some R-Type games *sob*

but i never finished Axelay on Very Hard.....you can't select that difficulty in the menu....you have to beat Hard first and after the ending credits you automatically start in Level 1 on Very Hard with all the lives and credits you had left after beating Hard

and trust me, Hard is not something for average gamers, but man what a rush it was! ^_^

When i saw that Very Hard had tripled the amount of enemies: "sheesh! i'm tired from Hard, give me a break! I'll try this some other time"

They don't make games like that anymore ^^

Kuro-puppy - I finished Axelay on Very Hard, but only a few times, the hitbox of the ship is bad against bullet sweeps (which the game LOVES to do).

Europe... ah yeah! Raiden III is available there and so is Giga Wing Generations. Both are good SHMUPS.

Tenkuuken - Game-wise, SW2 is way better than SW1, more newbie-friendly and more abusable!

Yay! i never thought i would meet someone who also played that game *happy*

i think R-Type are pretty good too but i never played one so i can't be sure.....

R-Type Final is a good game, just no beautiful bullet patterns. Old School Dodging at it's finest.

And the uber weak Wave Cannon (Level 1)!

The Ragnarok Ships have the uber broken Mega/Giga Wave Cannon that makes 1-hit kills on anyone!

i've got 7 ships sofar, but they aren't very impressive....and that one with the Rod Force is anoying to use...Arrow Head is nr 1 for the moment ^_^
