I kinda doubt the popularity of PS3 in the Philippines right now. The price and the disc media (2 points to who canguess what I'm talking about) to be used anytime.

Wii and PS3 for me. If it weren't for the ridiculous price tag, 360 would be added.

to be honest, I'm stunned to how advance the PS3 is.
I think Robin Sena is talking about Sony's choice to use Blu-Ray discs for the PS3 (ones that hold 25GB single layered and 50GB double layered), I also read that a Blu-Ray disc player alone costs between £600 and £700 so the PS3 is really a bargain compared to those prices since it uses the same hardware. Tthis is also compared the Xbox 360's discs (4.7GB single layer and 8.5GB double layer) which are much lower than the PS3's.
When it hits the UK the confirmed price is going to be £425 on November 17th. (Currently Xbox360 is £279.99)
I think I recall the Xbox360 being around £400 when it first came out so I'm just going to wait till the PS3 price lowers aswell.

but Robin, I think I'm most shocked by Blu-Ray's 8 Layer disc that can hold 200GBs of data. That on a game would just be.. It's mind boggling.

VexNet - It's hard to decide how to place game data on the massive blu-ray capacity. That alone adds more cost for game development (which sucks for non-major gaming companies).

well they don't always have to use all the data up do they? or if they don't it wastes thier money or something like that. I guess it really is starting to kill off it's weaker allies, survival of the fittest.
like when sega started making games instead of consoles.

That's already been released, there was the original and then they released a smaller more sleeker version.

It's just called the Nintendo DS Lite. there is no new Nintendo DS coming out.
the new Nintendo console however is called the NIntendo Wii.

The new Nintendo system rocks. Did anyone see the E3 press conference? When those four guys went up to the stage to play tennis? Damn, they looked like they were having a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget: Zero Samus, Kid Icarus, and OMG SOLID SNAKE on Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

(I personally hope that they don't make kid Link all goofy-looking, 'cause he's my favorite character, and I pwn with him, and I don't want him to look like a deformed chibi doll... >_<)

they ruined Link for the new smash bros, He looks way too detailed, To me they totally destroyed him because of it. I like his more cartoonish appearence like when he was in Super Smash Bros Melee.

Solid Snake would be funny if he snuck up behind mario to slit his throat then reveal a hidden truth about himself.

and yeah I saw danimation's photos of his friends playing Wii with golf, that looked like fun too.

I don't know. 85% of the people I know on Gamefaqs (especially the SSBB board) don't want WW Link on it.

Or second though, they don't want the "kid" Link.

Most discussions are pertaining to the removal of the Advanced Tech, Wavedash.

WW Link sucked, Not sucked, I mean he looked horrible (like he was constantly high), The game itself was really fun (from what I've played, I'm still yet to buy it), But I was talking about the link you see in SSBM. His more simple colour set is much more appealing than the new detailed darker clothe he is now seen in.
