What media player did you download? For mkv files, VCL Media Player works best.

Not really. =/ Avi and other formats play fine, but mkvs don't. You pause, it crashes. You skip ahead, it crashes. You turn on the subtitles, it crashes. You run any other program, it crashes. The Macintosh version is really not as good as I've heard the Windows version is.
MPlayer, the player I downloaded, plays the mkv files fine, but can't play the subtitles.

Weird...cuz mine plays just fine. Maybe it's because your computer can't handle it? ...I have an HP computer with Windows XP...
