I'd be quite disappointed if CLAMP did the same thing as in xxxHolic, since they did that so recently. Fai will probably be more worried about his magic than his eye, and sharing another's eyesight probably wouldn't give him his magic back. Unless eyesight is his magic, but I have no idea how that'd work.
