I'm not up-to-date on XXXHOLiC, but Show contentthey would've had to have had those wing parasites steal it. I don't think the parasites had appeared previously, as Watanuki, being able to see spirits and such, would have recognized them when he saw them on the girl. I don't think it's likely.
