There's still no translation? wow...

I've skipped pages 6 to 14, so excuse me if I'm repeating something.

Technically, it wouldn't matter to the plot that much if Fai died. Chii or Ashura could still explain his background. HOWEVER, Clamp wouldn't kill Fai off, because:
1: The gang travelled without Fai would just look... odd.
2: All the KuroxFai fans would be pissed. Clamp wouldn't do that to 'm.
3: Fai wouldn't get killed that easily. Remember what he said when he and Kurogane were fighting... Kiishimu or whatever her name is? He can't die yet. Just like Syaoran, he seems to have some sort of mission.

However, losing an eye is a pretty big problem. I'm thinkin'... The gang will find a way to get Syaoran back to normal, flee to the next world, contact Yuuko, and get some answers. Then, Yuuko will offer some way to replace Fai's eye, and perhaps suggest that 'sharing an eye' thing. Kurogane will volunteer, because he's feeling guilty, and because he secretly loves Fai. *nod nod*
However, there is the problem that a price has to be paid. And what's most precious to Kurogane and/or Fai? Their relationship? Or perhaps... Kurogane's chance to get revenge on Fei Wong, and Fai's refusal to go home. If Yuuko takes that, it'll turn the plot very interesting. Kurogane couldn't get near Fei Wong, and the gang can arrive in Ceres/Celes country at any time.

All good ideas, except for the fact I reckon that it would be a pretty big plot destroyer if Fai died (at this point. Hopefully he won't though.) because Yuuko said they were all brought together by Hitsuzen...so, I'm assuming Fai has had some sort of connection to Fei Wong Reed? Kurogane, Syaoran and Sakura all have. There's a reason they're all in this together, and without all four of them that reason would be completely pointless. *nods*

...And when's ~~Kuro-tan's long lost brother~~ Fuuma gonna show up again?

apparently DOES just take out Fai's eye. And only one of them. I assume Fai's just unconscious.

So, again...thank youuuuuuu *hug hug*

(I was reading Tokyo Babylon Volume 4 today...and the girl in that: Hashimoto gets a scar across her left eye. I know it's not losing an eye, nor is she a main character but still...Clamp's eye/pirate fetish amuses me.)

Poor Fai, you're a long way from Hanshin. But I guess that's testiment to how much the characters in Tsubasa have grown. As horrible as this chapter is, it's also really sweet when you think about how much they all care for each-other now, like an intense family bond. ^_^

lol! When you're married you become family. We have Kurogane as the protective father, Fai as the doting mother and Sakura and Syaoran as their 'adopted' children.
It's even sweeter when you think that back in Hanshin Fai was very blahzay about helping. He was all "Sure. Whatever. I've got nothing better to do." and Kurogane was adament that he wanted nothing to do with helping and was just following along because he needed Mokona to get home.
Now both Fai and Kurogane seem ready to die for their kids. ^^
