Wtf, when did Fai's eye become the source of his magic?  @__@   I thought that's what was being said, but I dismissed it because I didn't think they would repeat themes that many times.  But the translation confirms it.  I guess his tattoo only helped control it.

...Does this mean Fai has had a previous deal with Yuuko and paid the price of his eye?  XD

And as for the discussion, one of the saddest things I find is that Fai does all this to protect clone!Syaoran's heart and all his memories because to clone!Syao, all those memories are precious.

It was clone Syaoran that did it.  The real Syaoran is still coming.

Thank you so much for the translation, Pikari-san! Ah, everything makes much more sense now.

If Fai's only missing half of his magic and one eye, he should be fine. Nothing to worry about. He was pretty powerful in the first place, and none of the other one-eyed people have been too disadvantaged by it. And if he ends up with a false eye like Subaru, Seishirou, et al., it should look just as pretty.
Really, I'm primarily worried about Syaoran right now.

Yeah, it is kind of confusing..  ^^;;  I'll try and sum it up..

Real Syaoran gave Clone Syaoran a piece of his heart, so Clone Syaoran's real temperment was repressed under the caring, loving Syaoran we've known up until now.  As Real Syaoran's power grew, the heart he gave to Clone Syaoran has begun to return to him, thus allowing Clone Syaoran's true personality to show through.  Without Real Syaoran's heart, Clone Syaoran is cold, uncaring and willing to do anything to retrieve all of the feathers, as was programmed into him.
