You know what surprises me the most about this chapter? The fact that it was Fye's left eye that he lost, lol. AFAIK the only other time it was the left eye instead of the right is with Syaoran and that's because Clonie was missing a right eye. I guess after all the right eye hate, CLAMP has decided it's only fair to turn their target on the left, lol.

Don't forget Kokuyo! It was his left eye that he lost. Gave it to his...significant other to wear as a earring. In that action he gave away half his power to her/him. Hmm...maybe left eye loss relates to power transfer? After all it was (X spoiler)

Seishirou's left eye that Fuuma gave to Subaru, thus granting him the powers of the Sakurazukamori.

As opposed to right eye loss, which as far as I can remember, doesn't.

I'm such a bad fan I didn't think of that part from X, lol. Which is weird since that's my 2nd favourite scene aside from the Rainbow Bridge stuff.

I don't think anything can snap evil-Syaoran out of it at this point, though CLAMP has played "the force of ____'s love is the most powerful magic of all!" card before. Besides, it would probably just traumatize her!

It's times like this where I want Sakura to get more active in TRC, but then again I don't want her to get hurt, lol.

I don't think "love" can help syaoran right now. He has no heart. He is a mindless body, that has orders. Maybe if the "yinyang soal" goes back into him, then he can be snap out of it.

Clone Syaoarn join up with FWR, and the real syaoran gets his heart back, and join up with the gang. Sakura still thinks that is the syaoran who has been with them....but she thinks some thing not right.....

I hope clamp comes up with somthing crazy, something none of us thinks off....what am I thinking, that is CLAMP

I love this arc! X people, Syaoran going loco, lots of revelations & history, the 2 Syaoran's meet, I'm not a KuroFai fangirl but its nice to see them moving foward, xxxholic crossover plus we still have Subaru to go!

This arc was already wonderful, after all Subaru is in it!Â Kinda...(I want to hug Subaru and stoke his hair and feed him soup and generally mother him!).Â The only thing that can make it better is if he, I dunno, WAKES UP!Â Oh, and Seishirou appears, and they meet, and Hokuto is mentioned...okay there are a lot of things related to Subaru that they could do to improve this arc.

As for the actual plot, that I was forgetting in my Subaru fangirl mode, gah...I think I'm melting from good story overload.

Clamp are really keeping us on our toes in this arc.Â Everything they have done has surprised us in some way.Â In this chapter I love how protective Kurogane is, yet how subtle it is too.Â And they've drawn the eye thing really well too.Â It is drawn in the exact same way as Fay's eye (the pupil shading and everything) instead of Syaoran's shading but lighter.Â I can't, however, say that I'm anticipating the Syaoran fight as much as the aftermath though (or Subaru waking up...sorry, I have a few more fangirl moments left in me for him!).

Nothing in manga really grosses me out (I don't mind all the blood and gore) but there was something about Syaoran, about to bite Fay's eye out, that sent a shiver down my spine.

I'm finding it difficult to comment on this chapter because although we got Kurogane defending Fay and Syaoran using Fay's magic etc...it doesn't feel like much has happened.
