About the blood loss issue. For one thing, blood usually tends to look a lot more than it really is. It makes a huge mess but isn't normally as much as one thinks it is.
Now, I realize that Watanuki did lose a lot of blood. However, because Doumeki is bigger, he would have slightly more blood volume than Watanuki.
Part of what would have killed Watanuki before intervention would most likely not have been just blood loss alone. It would have been from the trauma and from shock.
So Doumkei is probably pretty anemic right now (maybe why he's sitting and not in the room?) but seems otherwise ok.
Now here's a horrifying thought. It's Doumeki's blood that allows him to exorcise spirits. If Watanuki recieved his blood to live, does that mean he now has the means to his wish?
On the other hand, if he DID recieve Doumeki's blood...then they share the eye and blood. Dang. Can't ask for a stronger bond than that, imo
