I still don't like Himawari... I still haven't forgiven her what she's, unintentionally or not, has done to Watanuki. (I appreciate it though that she is strong enough to take his scars.)

But shouldn't Doumeki be really weak now? Watanuki's blood loss was high and when Doumeki has taken it on himself, he should be as damaged as Watanuki after his fall now. You only have 5 litres of blood in your body (is that right...?) and it looks like he's lost quite a lot of it.

Watanuki isn't giving up on his friendship with Himawari and he smiles at her(or something to the effect of it). Something about a chiffon cake(pink?)? Outside the door to the room where he is in is Doumeki STILL covered in Watanuki's blood (I mean cmon WTH O_o). Both are talking, Himawari starts crying saying she is happy to have Watanuki as her friend. Watanuki's little right finger wont move? Watanuki accepts that he never actually liked Himawari in a romantic way(something like that). Seems like he is talking to twins (Maru and Moro I presume?) and ?child?

About the blood loss issue.  For one thing, blood usually tends to look a lot more than it really is. It makes a huge mess but isn't normally as much as one thinks it is.

  Now, I realize that Watanuki did lose a lot of blood. However, because Doumeki is bigger, he would have slightly more blood volume than Watanuki.

  Part of what would have killed Watanuki before intervention would most likely not have been just blood loss alone.  It would have been from the trauma and from shock.

  So Doumkei is probably pretty anemic right now (maybe why he's sitting and not in the room?) but seems otherwise ok.

  Now here's a horrifying thought.  It's Doumeki's blood that allows him to exorcise spirits. If Watanuki recieved his blood to live, does that mean he now has the means to his wish?

  On the other hand, if he DID recieve Doumeki's blood...then they share the eye and blood. Dang. Can't ask for a stronger bond than that, imo

You know, I'm wondering if Doumeki saw the crash through his eye.  He said when Watanuki is unstable that he does, and I wouldn't put it past him seeing it.

I think Doumeki probably saw through his eye ... at least it looked as if it was "active" since the moment Watanuki met Himawari (part of the pupil became white).
And now that I think of it, Doumeki's eye was also "active" when Wata told him that he had given the balloon to that girl ... he looked very worried too. I wonder if Wata was able to see through Domeki's eye at that moment...
