xD Danke schon!
Does anybody have any tips on getting used to sewing machines? I'm a bit scared of them, due to an incident. >.> <.< Would hand-sewing be almost easier?
Keine Ursache ^.^
Oh, that incident sounds unfortunate, sorry for you
Well, maybe you could visit a course or something? Here in Germany, there are "Volkshochschulen" where you can take courses in languages, cooking, sewing, etc. Is there something like this in America or wherever you live?
Or does your mother or granny or aunt or anyone sew? Maybe they can help you and show you how to work with the machine.
Hand-sewing is a skill you should have when sewing, you can't sew everything with the machine, so hand-sewing is useful. My stitches aren't as strong as the machine's, only when I make really small stitches and that takes hours. Well, I'd recommend the sewing machine but if you're not comfortable with it and have patience, hand-sewing can be just as fine if you practise it.
