Yuuko says that Fai getting back his eye will negate the vampire's blood! And if you look on page 294, Kurogane says, 'Ore wo tameshitana,' which means, 'You were testing me.' Therefore, I pretty much trust that. What the hell?
I can't even describe how I'm feeling at the moment.

That makes NO SENSE and COMPLETELY ruins the tension.

Once again... What the hell?

I don't know if it means it negates the whole thing, because I'm not sure, but the verb used is "iranakunaru" which is kind of like "to become not needed." so when it says "chi wa iranakunaru" I don't know if that  means it -negates- all of what the blood does, or if it just means Fay won't need Kuro's blood to survive. Perhaps he'd still keep any other effects of it. I don't know. Essentially it's saying it negates the blood, but I don't know if it means completely or just the need for it? Maybe that doesn't make sense?

While it is nice to know that we'll once again be seeing two of those lovely blues in the future, I'll have to agree with Jeannette that it does take away some of the tension in this chapter, well in this whole Fay arc. I'm happy that Kurogane passed the test, but... ah well.

Perhaps Fay will have the chance to get his eye back, but some how refuse it opting to be with Kurogane. (I like my Fangirl illusions...)

My biggest complaint is that it is INCREDIBLY bad writing as far as I'm concerned. It's CHEAP. It makes no logical sense.

Oh many o hope that Ladydarkmoon will continue cause if this person stop scanning for some reason, We won't get scans, cause i see it the link at Livejournal communities.

I for one will still be waiting for her scans and support her for scanning them in, way before the his person started.

If he didn't get it he would have died.  This will keep him alive until he can get his eye back...IF he gets it back.

This was really a test on Kurogane, it shows how he values Fai.  If he had known otherwise, all meaning would have been lost.  So if Fai gets his eye back, all is good.  If he doesn't, then the same.

serve to prove that Kurogane cares deeply for Fai. Because now we have no garuntee that they'll stay together.

I suppose you could look at it and say that now their relationship will be changed anyway, but to be all 'well, they're bound together forever!' and then to just say 'oh, well, nevermind about all that' is so cruel, Clamp. So cruel. T_T

I wanted change. I wanted this event to change the foundation of the group. And now it's like this is just an excuse to make everything be normal again.

Eh, I'm less upset at the writing, and more upset at the fact that any posts giving thought/mention of Syaoran or Sakura in this chaptire are completely ignored in this thread.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother.
