Chobits was the first manga series I completed and I'm still very fond of it ^_^ Although I'm a bit of a prude, so I was in shock when I finished the first volume. (I bought it without thinking, cuz it was CLAMP, and dad grabbed it out of my hands before I could read it
 that was embarrassing.) But the story was interesting enough to continue, especially 'cause I knew Freya was gonna show up. It's kinda funny tho' - if you look at the past, it was Elda/Chi who seemed the oldest, and in the present it's Freya who seems the oldest. Probably just me. I actually loved all characters - Sumomo was brilliant, Kotoko reminded me at Meiling from CCS but was cute anyway. (It was therefore why I was laughing out loud when I noticed Kotoko and Meiling have the same seiyuu in Japanese.) The side stories were a good read too, like Yuzuki/Minoru, Shinbo/Takako and Manager Ueda/Yumi. I love couples ^_^
But I was quite surprised to read above Dita is male o0; looking back at it, I realize he looks more male than female, but thanks to TOKYOPOP, I was so convinced it was a female... Ah well. (Dita's a persocom after all, so that doesn't make him male or female actually... )
I'm very curious to watch the anime - I watched the opening theme and it was so cute! Cuter than I thought it'd be, actually. Thanks for the youtube link given above!! (some other youtube users put a security thingy on it so that people <18 couldn't watch it, including me.)
