X/1999 arc to be on season 3

X/1999 to be in Season 3
With next week's episode also looking to be unique to the anime, and only three episodes after that it's looking more and more like the X/1999 arc from the manga will be pushed back until season three which begins to air in April 2007.

I don't mind this that much at all. Gives us all a chance to get up to speed with the English version of the manga and will also give Bee Train a chance to do the story justice especially since that arc hasn't finished running in the Japanese manga yet.

Most of these anime only arcs have been rather fun this year (with the exception of last week's snooze fest) and next week's episode "The Warped Wish" looks like it's had a lot of effort put in. Some of the best animation the series has seen in a while.

It's not very official, but I guess it's the latest. I hope that season 3 has better animation and no fillers!

yeah...I suppose they should have the Tokyo one is season 3, and If they have more filler, GOOD BYE TRC anime.....don't feel like watching it any more , and I assume it will be less bloody than manga

they just better have CLAMP work with beetrain and fire all the crap animators, otherwise theres no hope

Is there a possibility for another studio to do the 3rd season or we're just damned with Beetrain forever?

I'd like the same studio that made the 1st movie, the animation was waaay better. They could also change the series's broadcast time on Japan to midnight or something, that way they don't have to censore the bloody scenes

Are there only 2 seasons in the tsubasa series? It's so cool, i'd hate to see it end.

Right now they've planned three seasons. What will happen after that hasn't been decided yet, I don't think.

And if they gave a date to when it's starting? (it's probably only next year right?)

that was Production I.G. they did xxxholic, very well. they would do TRC justice! they KNOW how to diferentiate a anime from tis manga.

Production I.G. also had Clamp breathing down their necks, Ohkawa was on staff and even wrote some of the scripts. I kinda have to wonder if it was because of how Tsubasa turned out that they were so hands on with xxxHolic as to prevent it from happening again.

I pretty much have zero hope for a good representation of the Tokyo world.

I have 1% hope that they will pulling off Tokyo - 1% that Clamp will get in there and breath down their necks. Though I don't think that'll make much difference without changes to the broadcasting and a bigger bidget.

Well I expected that they would come to the X world in the third season. But it's tiring with all these fillers...  Lets hope that they wont destroy the x arc...

agreed. There should be a change to the broadcasting, otherwise NHK will rape the arc(more than Beetrain surely will)

I'm not sure Kazuki, but I've read that Tokyo arc will appear in season3!!! At least, we'll see Kamui and company!! I lost hope about this arc...next season will be aired on April 2007, we'll have to wait a lot.

(KratosAurion, am I right to assume that you're a Tales of Symphonia fan? If so, YOU RULE!)

It's only logical that the Tokyo arc would be in season three. There's no time for them to start it now. It'll be fillers until the end of season 2. Though I still don't get why they didn't animate the cute bunny world. >_>

I think that they're going to have to really hurry it along in season three. I'm sure CLAMP has lots of stuff planned for the last volumes, including Fai's fast, making it nearly impossible for Beetrain to put it all in 26 episodes. Therefore, I think the number of fillers in season three will be very low. Hopefully zero. ... Unless they confirm a season 4. Then we're screwed.

I remember reading something long time ago that CLAMP wanted to make TRC longer that CCS. I'm too sure though if this was just some random rumor.=/

I remember something about 21 volumes. But I´m not sure if that was confirmed or not. They´re at volume 17 now, right?
