Tokyo Mew Mew is currently on my favorites list. ^^ I just need to watch 21 more eps and I'm done. Oh, and my favorite Mew Mew is Zakuro because she reminds me of one of my favorite characters (Ceres from Ayashi no Ceres) and I like her personality. Lettuce is a close-second because she's shy, just like my RL-persona. =3

Seen the first episode (have it on computer)

I like the opening song/video and the transformation sequence/battle near the end.

Haven't seen anymore but :cries:

I watch it however I haven't seen the original version. Is the translation from Japanese to English really that horrible?!!

Oh, no. It's not that bad, Arcademan. ^^; The dub of TMM is actually pretty decent with the exception of few characters' voices. *cough*MasayaandKish*cough*

I don't think it's too bad of a dub.  The biggest thing that pisses me off most about it are the horrible VAs which makes it very unenjoyable to watch.   All the names and music were changed, any Japanese cultural references were edited out, all the characters are snobbier in the dub, but they left in all the romance (surprisingly), and most of the cuts aren't really anything major; they're just really pointless and stupid.  There have been some changes to the plot though, but I can't say what without giving away any spoilers.  However, for a more detailed comparision between TMM and MMP, I recommend checking out Mew Mew Power Uncensored: http://mmpu.smuncensored.com/

As for my opinion about TMM...I've only seen the first 24 episodes of TMM fansubbed (and I only saw the first episode of the dub), but so far I think the characters are kind of generic,  I thought the Blue Knight was a complete rip-off of Tuxedo Kamen, and there's been barely any plot twists so far, but despite these flaws, I like it.  TMM has very good animation and catchy music (My Sweetheart is a really cute opening theme song), I like what little originality the characters' personalities have, the show is really cute and funny, I like the villians a lot (especially Quiche), and it's just a really fun and addicting show.  It's not one of my all-time fav anime series, but it's still interesting enough for me to sit down and watch it.  So far my fav character is Lettuce because I think it's cute how she's shy like that, and she's very sweet even to people who are unkind to her, and I like her Lettuce Castanets attack.  My least fav character has to be Masaya.  There's just something about him that really annoys me.  Ichigo deserves far better than him!  The only thing I like about Masaya is that he's voiced by Ogata Megumi-san, but that's just my opinion.  Anyway, I still have to watch the rest of TMM, but I guess I like what I've seen of it so far.
When her leathery, crow-footed face turned towards my raised hand and said, “Yes, the boy in the Sailor Mercury t-shirt,” I sprung into action. It took me a brief 20 seconds to acquire the bokken (wooden sword) I had secured to the underside of our chairs with duct tape the night previous. Shouting “Japan BANZAIII!” in the manner of those noble kamikaze pilots from the War of United States Aggression (so tactlessly referred to in your history books as “World War II”), I charged the stage, bringing down the bokken forcefully onto the plywood table in front of Tiffany Grant. It was a tragic mistake not to channel my ki correctly. The bokken splintered into a thousand pieces, leaving me with no other plan of attack besides shouting, “You’re no Asuka!” as two Ohayocon toughs escorted me out of the room-SomethingAwful.com

Episode 12 of MMP is still episode 12; they just aired it before episode one.  Think of it as like the pilot episode.  This isn't the first time this has been done.  Fox Kids aired English episode 41 of Sailor Moon as its premiere episode when the show first came to the U.S., then the show switched over to syndication and started from episode one.  4Kids also did this with Pokemon.  Back when Pokemon premiered on syndication before it moved to the Kid's WB, 4Kids showed episode 13 (or something like that; the episode with the St. Anne) before episode one, but then it started over from the beginning and that episode was re-inserted back into its proper episode order.  So, episode 12 of MMP is still episode 12; they just aired it before episode one as the premiere.

Speaking of Ep 12, I heard from MMA (Mew Mew Alliance) boards that it will be skipped after Ep 11 airs and just go on to Ep 13. I don't know how the admin got the news, though. Click

The storyline is ok, but it does end in a preculiar way... though there is supposed to be a second series, Tokyo mew Mew A la mode.

*shakes head* Nope, sorry, the official site no longer exsists. In ways, it is kind of 'dead' animanga, since there are few sites for it.

Yeah. Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode is a sequel to the series in which Ichigo isn't the main character. Instead, a girl named Berry takes her place. Oh, and that sequel is manga-only.

As for where you can look for episodes, you can go to Neko-Tokyo, which is a great TMM shrine. ^_^ http://ichigo-parfait.net/neko/ There was another site which had eps (WAV file, of course) up to 31 subtitled with Episode 52 being raw-only.  Unfortunately, that site got rid of the eps. *sighs* All I need in eps 32-52 and I'm finished with TMM!
