And this place is still loading not only slow, but in many threads, not at the last post or even page.

I am not very happy with this and this better be rectified soon.

Unfortunately I'm still unable to diagnose the problem.

I've tried several things without success, and I'm just about at my wits end with it.

Maybe I might kill my ISP (damn, I wish I could leave them), their problems don't make solving this issue any more easier

As a test, I've installed the latest version of SMF

Much faster than this place...very slow compared to every forum I belong to.

Hmm, strange.

I've made some tweaks to the database server config, can anyone notice improvement here?

I've already noticed I'm no longer getting white pages (though I can't be sure if that was a site problem or my ISP)

Faster by about 3 times...still about 5 times slower than the old days.

I think its just a matter of further tweaking.
