The holy spirits who stand a rank above ordinary angels. They
possess great magical potential, some of them can be as destructive

the rulers of Japan. Their leader is the Sun Goddess,
Amaterasu-oomikami. Many of them are worshipped in Shinto practices
to this very day.

MAJIN [Ma (Demon, Magic) + Jin (Person)]
These are the deities which are worshipped the most in our day
and age. They have the most followers and hence possess the power,
which is second to none, which gives them dominion over most demons.

These are those female deities who possess gentle nature, full of

those of MAJIN, they choose to use them for healing the wounds rather
than inflicting them. They tend to be beautiful in appearance, as
mercy is often said to be the symbol of beauty.

SHINJUU [Shin (God) + Juu (Beast)]
Some of these beasts are animal forms of higher gods. Some are
vehicles emplyed by them. Either way, they are the manifestations
of wild, ferocious aspects of divinity. They bring forth
the strongest of powers in battles with the creatures of evil.
These beasts have long been worshipped in various parts of Earth,
and amongst all the animalistic demon races they stand the highest.

and low-elementals. Fusing an elemental with a demon of another race
strengthens or weakens the result, depending on the race's affinity
for the said element.

Some of them humans consider to be omens of good fortune, while
some of them have traditionally served as ritual sacrifices to gods.

anew.

who gave birth to us. These are some of the oldest deities around,
some of the most primieval archetypes to form within a mind of a man.

the mythology of Ancient Japan. They are thought to have arisen as
focii of nature worship in various parts of Japan.
After Amatsukami have descended from Heavenly Land and claimed the
rulership of Japan, many of Kunitsukami tried to resist them, but were
defeated and sealed off.
