Freya was 'disappearing' because she'd fallen in love with her 'father' and the pain was too much to bear. Then Elda downloaded Freya's 'heart' into her own body, to keep her safe.
After Chii found 'the one just for her' and was supposed to start a special program (I'm thinking of the anime now), she decided to disappear and Freya resurfaced completely, taking over Chii's body. It's been a while since I read the manga version of the ending. I can't really remember why Freya resurfaced in there.

mmm...extrange story, I hope understand it better with chapter 147^^ it's going to be a shocking chapter!

i had to bite my lip and suck in my lips to prevent the grin from breaking my face ( did NOT want to xplain to my mom why i had a ji-normous grin on my face. BUT, on the inside im sqeeeee-ing to ddeath, and ill let myself grin in privacy :DDDDD
