At home, Rin was laying on her bed reading a book. Her twin sister was asleep on another bed that was near the window, the doctor had just taken her temprature. "A hundred and four.." he said upon looking at the thermometer. "This happened a few years back," he commented as he got up. Anise was fast asleep, but she was sweating all over.

"Just give her the usual fever medicine and she should be fine by tomorrow morning," he said and bid Rin's older sister a farewell.

Rin sighed and put the book she had been reading down. "Sis?"

"Yes?" Rin's older sister said as she began to change Anise out of her sweat soaked pajamas. "why did that happen?"

"did what happened?" Her big sister said without looking at her.

"Why did this happen to Sakura..." Rin asked.

Her big sister stopped. "I don't know... I... can't answer something I don't know," her big sister said and continued to undress Anise. "Rin, will you go into the dresser and fetch me a dry pair of pajamas?" her big sister asked her, Rin nodde and went over to the dresser and retreived a pair of pajamas. She walked over to her big sister and handed them to her, "thanks... you should try and get some rest," she told her.

"How can I rest...." Rin said as got into bed and pulled the covers over her. Her big sister sighed and pulled the pajama top down over Anise's head. Once she was done she pulled the covers over the young girl and walked over to the door, she could barely hear Rin sobbing, she knew her little sister was very upset but there was little she could do but comfort her. With one last look she closed the door behind her.

The boys were deadly silent as they reached the house. Andy and Phineas both were very pale. They went inside and Andy's mother frowned, but with a look from her husband, said nothing at all. The boys went to Andy's room and sat down. After a moment, Andy said, "I guess we should try and sleep."

Phineas noncommitally said, "I suppose so." There was more silence, and then they both drifted off in an uneasy sleep.

Afternoon soon came; the clouds above the town still lingered and had continued the rain that had fallen the night before.

Rin was awoken by the sound of her twin sister having a nightmare. She looked over at Anise, who was tossing and turning in her bed, she wondered just what type of nightmare the girl was having.

She was tempted to go over and wake her up, but thought better of it and just got out of bed. She walked over to the window and looked at the storm clouds, she wanted to do 'something', being stuck in the house with only a few books and toy's didn't make life enjoyable for her at least not right now.

"I guess I'll ask big sis if she can take me to the park..." she said, knowing full well it was raining. She found her big sister in the room beside their own, she was working on school work it seemed. "Uhh.... Sis?" Rin said nervously after poking her head into the room.

Her sister turned around, "afternoon Rin, what's wrong?" she asked her.

"Um... can you take me to the park?" Rin asked. Her big sister looked at her oddly and turned toward the window, "in this weather?"

RIn nodded.

"Well... mother's home so I guess ok, get dressed into something a bit warm though as its cold outside," her big sister told her.

Rin smlied and went back to her room. Most of the clothing that her and her twin sister wore had mainly been dresses or two peices sailor outfits, due to her mothers love of the school uniform, there for after looking for ten minute's and not finding something 'normal' she resigned herself and just choose a sailor dress and put it on over her pajamas.

At the door her big sister was waiting; she handed her her school issued weather coat for which she put on. "You told mother?" Rin asked. Her big sister nodded, "I did, mother said she'll check on Anise like always does."

With that Rin nodded and followed her big sister to the park.

Mr. Baldwin gently knocked on the door. "Boys? You should get up now. It's one in the afternoon."

Phineas got up first. "We're up, Mr.Baldiwn, don't worry." He turned to look at Andy who was dozing lightly. He went over and nudged him. "Wake up, Andy."

Andy opened his eyes wearily. He silently got out of bed. He opened his wardrobe and grabbed a worn looking white t-shirt, blue jeans, sandals, and a baseball cap.

Phineas realized Andy was planning something and did the same. He rummaged through his bag and brought out a gray t-shirt, khaki pants, sneakers, and a baseball cap. In a little bit, they both changed and walked out. Andy's parents didn't say anything and let the boys go. Once outside, Phineas looked at Andy. "Where are we going?"

Andy didn't answer at first. He adjusted his cap so the rim was over his eyes. He shoved his hands in his pocket and answered simply. "Taking a walk."

Rin had walked out of the swings, she looked at the seat which was wet with rain water, but she didn't care as she took a rock and rocked back and forth. The rain gently ran down her face and onto her coat, her big sister just watched, knowing that her little sister needed time alone. "She's still thinking of Sakura, but why is she blaming herself? Even if she didn't say it directly it's obvious..." her big sister said and shook her head.

Andy's eyes had hardened as he still wasn't saying much to Phineas. Phineas pushed his hat down lower and didn't say anything either. All they needed at the moment was each other's company, they didn't need to talk. They were passing the park now. Andy kept on looking straight ahead but Phineas looked at the park. That's when he saw Rin. Phineas tapped Andy on the shoulder. Andy swiftly turned and looked at Phineas, then looked at where he was pointing. His face relaxed slightly as he back tracked and made his way back into the park with Phineas right behind him.

Rin sighed and looked at the mud covered ground. "Why did that have to happen to her," she said and placed her hands up to her face.

Andy sat down next to Rin wordlessly, the rim of his hat still covering his eyes. He leaned back and sighed. Phineas stood there, staring up at the sky, and the raindrops falling down.

Rin continued to stare at the ground, lost in thought, not even noticing that Andy was sitting on the adjacent swing.

Andy began to hum softly. Phineas looked over at Andrew and saw him closing his eyes, humming peacefully.

Rin still hadn't noticed though, she brought her hands down and continued to stare. "why...." she said softly.

Phineas walked over to the other swing on the other side of Rin.

"Rin." He said in a low voice.

Rin flinched upon hearing her name, she turned to find Andy sitting next to her. "A-A-Andy!... ummm..." Rin blinked and looked away. "Umm..." she tried to find something to say but the words wouldn't come.

Andy slowly got up and knelt beside her. Pushing the cap up slightly, he said, "Don't worry. Finny and I know what you're going through. We understand." With that, he hugged her gently and let go.

Rin smiled. "Y... you don't understand... I felt something before this happened... like something was going to happen to her... but I just stood by and did nothing!" she shouted and stared Andy in the eyes, tears coming down her face.

Andy winced slightly. "No matter which way you think of it, you're not all to blame. You understand?" He took a hand and started to wipe the tears from her face.

Nearby, Phineas was grinding his teeth. It was ridiculous, at a time like this, but he was jealous

Rin was surprised; and her eyes showed it. She stared at him for a minute or so before looking back toward the ground, "but... still... why Sakura?"

Andy sighed and sat down on the wet ground. "I've been asking myself that same question. I've come up with no conclusions. Stuff happens I guess. Life happens. Sakura was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Did you know, if a bloody teacher hadn't stopped me, I could've found her, possibly?"

Rin turned her head slightly toward him. "Yea....but.... uhhh.. I just don't understand," Rin said and placed her hand on her head.

Her big sister walked over to the swings and knelt down next to Rin. "Don't force yourself to understand, it's not possible to understand 'everything' that goes on in our world," she said to Rin who nodded slowly.

Phineas always got the shivers around this place. Andrew claimed it helped him think, but Phineas's house was nearby. He nervously glanced around. Andy noticed. He stood up and looked at Phineas.

"You alright, Finny? You look real pale."
Phineas's hand unconciously went to his bruised cheek. "I'm fine, just fine." But that's when Phineas's dad came out of the house, lumbering a long. Phineas froze.
