Lurea nodded. "Yoko, you awake?" she asked.
Yoko was aroused by Andy's sudden burst of excitement. "Am now..." she yawned and stood up. "Want me to teleport us out of here?" she asked. Lurea nodded and kept her stance while looking around, Yoko nodded and cuped her hands in the center of her chest.
A gold diamond suddenly appeared and began to spin around; as it did Yoko started chanting a spell in a language that no one, not even Lurea, could understand. As she chanted her words a blue orb of energy appeared in her hands and began to expand. "Two min---" she said before stopping her chanting and thus the teleport spell. "Lurea, someone is blocking any teleport magic!" she said.
"How? We just used a teleport spell a few minutes ago to get out of the hospital how can----" Lurea said before it dawned on her. She had been so focused on answering the boy's quesitons that she hadn't bothered to scan the area of any other magical signatures, sure enough there were several nearby casting a teleport cancellation spell.
Lurea didn't miss a beat and took off for the alley exit; knowing full well that they had to get out of the city, outside the range of the cancel spell, before Yoko could teleport them. As she ran two soldiers appeared by the exit and raised their rifles, but before they had a chance to fire there was a blur of motion as Lurea appeared behind them, followed a second later by the two soldiers collasing to the ground in a pool of their own blood.
"Don't stop!" Lurea shouted as Yoko and Syran exited the alley, she bother to look behind her to see if the boys had as well but she had assumed by how Andy reacted that he was most likely following. As she lead the group down the wide street and toward the market square she suddenly stopped in her tracks, causing everyone else to do the same.
She looked around; her eyes darting the roof tops. "Ok I sense your sorry butt.. where are you?!" she exclaimed before seeing a blinding flash in the sky. She brought her staff up just in time to block an attack from her unseen attacker, the attack was powerful enough to split the ground beneath her and cause a small ten inche deep crater.
Her attacker broke off his attack and jumped backwards, landing a few feet away. The man wore a blood colored road; he held a two handed greatsword, yet wielded it like it was as light as a feather. "Golden Rose," the man said and liked his sword. Lurea, disgusted, just spat on the ground and shook her head. "Black Rose, my... I thought I'd never see your sorry mug again," she said to him.
Black Rose laughed; his laugh was menacing and caused Anise to cover her hears in fear. Yoko stood in front Anise and the boy's, her arms stretched out as if she was telling him not to come closer. Syran was beside Anise and had his hand to his side, a black ball of energy at the ready in the event he had to attack.
"So, you've decided to rescue these children.. hmmm?" Black Rose said and gestured with his head toward Yoko and the rest of the group. "What a waste of time, and here I was hoping to give them a very quick death," he grinned evilly and licked his blade a second time.
Lurea shook her head and stood up straight; she then slammed her staff into the ground and left it there. "You know I can't let you do that," she said. "What? And you think you can stop me?" he shot at her.
A faint grin appeared on Yoko's face. "No... Lurea can't," she said. Black Rose raised an eye brow and looked at the little girl, "oh.... and you think you can?" she said. Yoko raised her head and smiled childishly at the man, this made him feel slightly uncomfortable. "nope," she said in that soft voice of hers. Anise and Lurea both blinked and wondered who Yoko was talking about; the girl exibited exthreme calmness despite the man they were up against, and despite all that, she still showed her childish side to him.
There was a sudden burst of wind as someone flew by her, their image blurred by their speed, papers and fallen debris flew up in the air. Black Rose followed the motion only as far as his eyes could track before losing it, he struggled to find his unseen foe. Second's later the wind cracked as a large mallet connected with his armor, spliting it open and sending the man flying through a lamp post, then the post office, and then through a water tower that was fifty feet away and sixty feet high.
"Sheesh... what a motor mouth could hear him from the school for pete's sake.," A young girl said as she floated in the air. She hefted a large mallet and wore a school uniform, oddly enough, it was the same uniform that Anise and her twin sister wore. It took Anise only a second to recognize who it was. "Ranmaru?!"
