"Yukita, where do you think Anise is?" Sakura asked as they walked down the hallway.
"Hmm... I don't know," he said and ran over to the stairway. "I'm sure she's ok, we'll probaby see her tomorrow, I'm sure," he said. Sakura just nodded and followed him out of the large building and over to another; this building was built more like a dormitory as it had a main central lobby and several stairs. She walked up one flight of stairs until she got to the third floor.
In her room Sakura quickly got into her pajamas and laid down, Yukita smiled and laid next to her. "You know, are you going to change back into your human form?" Sakura asked him. "Oh alright, I'll do so tomorrow morning. Besides, I'm sure Ranmaru will want me to run you and your friends through the orientation class, well, provided the Elders allow them to join," he said.
"I'm sure they will," Sakura said, her voice trailing off as she fell asleep.
***1:00 AM***
Ranmaru stood before a large table, around the table were eight Elder Mage's, each one wore a different color robe and each sported a different type of staff. "How are they doing Ranmaru?" an older mage said, he looked to be in his late seventies and sported a black robe.
"I checked on Phineas and Andy, they are both doing ok but I'm concerend about Phineas. Anise managed to cry herself to sleep and Sakura is doing fine. The purge on Rin worked like a charm, the doctors said she'll be up and active by nine am today," Ranmaru said, her hands shifted from one side of her body to the other: she was always so nervous when speaking to the elders.
"That's good, I'm glad they are ok," the black robed mage said.
Another mage coughed. "We have four confirmed kids who can use magic, and then we have another who isn't even potty trained for christs sake and can't even use magic!" the mage said, this one wore an orange robe and sported a staff that had a sword on it.
Ranmaru shook her head. "Anise is an insecure girl, you should all know that as I've been observing them since they started pre-school," she said, then turned her attention to the head Elder. "Elder Lucious... I can assure you that these four will be a great asset to our force. We just need to train them, while I'm aware that Anise can't use magic yet, there's no question that if we were to seperate her from her twin sister it would cause her much problems,"
Lucious nodded. "You are rest Miester Ranmaru, for that I'll keep those two together. Today I want you to bring the two boys, the twins, and Sakura along with Yoko to the orientation classroom after they've had breakfast," he said.
"As you wish," Ranmaru bowed. "Elder.... what of my team? I know Lurea is dead, but there were at least six more..."
The Elder shook his head. "I'm sorry, they were murdered shortly before the attack on the city," he said. Ranmaru sighed and looked toward the wall, "damn... they weren't even teenagers for heavens sake.." with that she shook her head and retired for the night.
Once Ranmaru was away the mage's all looked at Lucious. "You can't seriously be allowing them to train? All the children here started very young, these kids are ten years old, one of them is nine, how do you expect them to learn so fast," a green robed mage said.
"We all know that they are the only one's who can assault our enemy's city," Lucious said and stood up. "Andy, Phineas, Anise, Sakura, Rin, Yukita, those six have never been labeled by our enemy as being agents to our cause. While I don't want to send mere children into combat, we all understand what is at stake. The power to control the human realm can only be achieved if our realm is taken," he said.
The mage's nodded and, one by one, they all retired. Lucious sighed, "Yukita, your early..." he said.
Yukita strolled into the room and jumped up onto the table. "You want me to wake them up today and run them to breakfast?"
"Yes please, and do it in your human form please," Lucious said.
"No problem," Yukita said and jumpe down from the table and out of the room. Lucious just shook his head.
***8:00 Am***
Sakura yawned as she stood in front of the door to the room that Andy and Phineas were in. "I usually can wake up at nine... why are we up this time in the morning?" she said to Yukita. The girl stood beside her and wore a golden robe, she looked to be around twelve year's old and had four red beads in her hair.
"Because the Elder wants to meet with them," she said and knocked on the door. "Andy, Phineas," she said and awaited a response.
