Ahhh... 9/11... 10th grade..
When that occuried I was on the bus heading to school (thirty minute drive since my school was nineteen miles) we were listening to the radio, some new music, when suddenly someone came on and said that a plane hit the WTC.
Being half asleep none of us really thought much of it; well during first period several students were talking about (PE) but after PE I went to history class and on the TV was the secnod air craft hitting the tower. My blood turned cold because I also hard the Pentagon had also been hit, and my older brother works there and was suppose to be on THAT side (the side that was hit)
Our stupid dean announced on the intercomm. and told ALL the teachers to TURN OFF the TV's and to get back to teaching.. (stupid fool) of course no one listened
School was let out early that day (twelve) because of the attack on our country, I went home, asked my father about my brother and let out a sigh of relief when he told me that my bro wasn't on that side when it happened, strangely enough, he had car trouble trouble that day and ended up being on the other end of the Pentagon when the plane struck.
Two days later though my school held a memorial because in the senior broadcast journalism class we had two students at the WTC doing an article on the towers... they didn't survive... that's a day that I still remember..
