Gundam Seed: Fate

<< < (2/15) > >>

Kasawa Lanford:
Minutes ticked by on his mission watch; then at the thirty minute marked was reached and his distance counter went down to only a mere one hundred feet from the stationary patrol vessel, the Majesty came to life. It's phase shift armor came online with a goldish/bluish brellence.

The arm of the Gundam pulled back and grabbed a beam sabre that was on it's back; wiping it out like it was no heavier than a feather. The blade glowed to a dull blood red hue before the suits thrusters pack's came online, rocketing it toward the patrol vessel.

They struck so fast; so precise, that the patrol vessel wasn't able to send out it's compliment of mobile suits. The sabre cut cleaning into the top of the vessel, bisecting it in the center, then continueing down through the bottom. As Kiten piloted his suit away, a blinding explosion rippled through space, rocking his suit as the reactor of the vessel chained reacted.

"One down," Kiten said as he saw reinforcement appear on the sensor display. "Count?" he asked his co-pilot.

"Two, no...make that four," Sakura said as she flipped a switch. "All are Zaku class," she said, her voice amused by the lack of more powerful weapons to be thrown against them.

Kiten nodded. "I'm almost certain we'll get a heavier response once those charges go off, which should be in another twenty eight minutes," he said as he flew toward a peice of debris that was once the Zaft patrol vessel.

Dark Alpha:
No sooner did a large number of Zaku class groups began acting in defensive measures, flying towards the Gundam that destroyed one of their patrol vessels. However their attempts were soon thwarted when Strike Noir flew towards them from above, firing its two beam rifles rapidly at them at a machine gun's speed rate, destroying them at a quick pace, as Strike Noir then stylishly changed directions and flew towards the original target area.

More and more Zaku class groups began flying towards the Strike Noir, intending to take it out. However, they only proved to meet the same fate as the Strike Noir's two beam rifles begun performing its job again; destroying any Zaku's that are interfering in its pathway.

Kasawa Lanford:
Kiten ignored the mercenary as hide behind the debris. "We'll have to blow early," he said as he reached for the remote detonator. "Fire a message off the merc to get clear of the blast zone!" he shouted, waited fifteen seconds, then depressed the trigger.

A rippling explosion chained through the refueling complex as the explosives afixed to the various fuel lines detonated. The bottom of the colony suddenly warped as explosion chained across the bottom and toward the glassy structure of the colony. Cracks appeared on the glass and spread in various directions.

Kiten watched as the bottom half ot the colony began to float away; explosions still chainingacross the depot. "Mission complete," Sakura said before a warning light came on. "Detecting three mobile suits, checking ID's... It's the Destiny, Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice," Sakura said as she brought it up on another display for Kiten to see. He naturally scowled at the presence of three coordinators, veterans of the last war, willing to take them on.

"Keep an eye on them," he said.

"Infinite Justice is breaking off and heading toward the Merc, Destiny and Freedom are headed toward us," Sakura said. Her voice was calm and collected, as if she had been expecting this all along and was waiting for the moment.

Dark Alpha:
'Looks like it took the bait, that Gundam should be able to handle the other two, especially the Destiny pilot.' thought Xion, as he flew above all of the sudden, which will cause Infinite Justice to loose track of Strike Noir's location. The out of the blue, Strike Noir unexpectedly flew towards Infinite Justice from above & behind, firing its two beam rifles rapidly at Infinite Justice, remaining in an admirably accurate manner even though being in a hard position to do so.

Once Strike Noir got close enough, Xion switched from its two beam rifles to its two beam blade, being ready to clash against Infinite Justice's beam saber if it is in position, otherwise Strike Noir would have made a swift V-cut at Infinite Justice's torso.

Kasawa Lanford:
The Majesty easily avoided a sabre from the Destiny; Kiten flew the gundam like it was an extension of his own body. Causing it to dive cleanly away from the bladed weapon.

"Annoyance," was the word Kiten used to describe the Destiny. As he flew downwards he quickly reversed thrust and brought his blade up toward the Destiny, he was to quick for the pilot to evade and easily removed the head of the gundam, which flew off into space somewhere.

"One down," Kiten said coldly as he turned his attention to the Strike Freedom, he knew even from a distance that it would prove an interesting battle.

Infinite Justice screamed toward the unknown gundam; it's blade outward and ready for battle. The onboard pilot could already feel this battle would be intense, not only from the wreakage he saw floating around, but also by how the gundam ahead looked.

"Why are they here? Who are they?" Athrun asked himself as he approuched the gundam. "Why are these people attacking?" he shook his head clear of the questions, knowing they would be nothing more than a distraction.
