The only thing that ruined Sephiroth for me was the fact that they used Lance Bass for his voice in Kingdom Hearts.

I LOVED Squall's Voice too !!

and n.. Sephiroth on KH was a really good boss!! I Loved fighting him

I loved Squalls voice, too.
Hehe, probably because I like David Boreanaz

. Crazy thing was that that was how I always imagined his voice whenever I played FF8.

same here!! I really wish they would remaked VIII with David doing his voice. I LOVED FFVIII

Sephy-sama was a bit of a headache in KH, i have to agree. He kept killing Sora! Argh~! Only after i saw the cheats that i defeated him *shame...*

The FFXII Demo is out (You need to buy Dragon Quest VIII first).

The battle system in use is ADB (Active Dimension Battle System) - The closest thing you can emulate this one is Knights of the Old Republic.

In a nutshell...

- Battles kinda occur actively.
- The "Gambit" system is an automated battle system whenever you're not controlling a character. This one allows you to set predetermined commands and have that character do it over and over again.
Example: Gambit is set to "Heal Self", that character is simply going to heal him/herself until you change his/her Gambit or take control.
- You can turn to Classic Turn Based system if you're not accustomed to ADB.

Now, onto questions on why fans are 50/50 on FFXII

- FFXII system resembles an MMORPG (FFXI to be exact) which is a huge departure to the classic format
- Character designs... you know this already (if you're going to blame someone, blame Nomura)
- Debates rage over onto the "waving goodbye to tradition".

I would of preffered them to stick to the incest story, LOL, vaan and ashe that is anyway.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to get the demo, I can't get it cos I'm not going to waste money on getting DQ just for the demo. I've seen screenshots and great reviews from some other forums tho. I don't think it looks bad at all, If anything, They are all improvements.

wait, is FFXII still an MMORPG? when we bought FFXI, we had to buy the whole system... i mean, so we can connect to the internet and stuff... is FFXII going to be like this again?!

FFXII is not an MMORPG. But the battle system resembles that of one, think FFXI Offline.

You move teh character around yourself right?
and your slecet when you want to hit and when you want to fall back and use items etc.
It gives you a bit more freedom i think.

that seems pretty narrow minded and stubborn, If they want turn based combat they have the rest of the Final Fantasy games to play XD
I'm really looking forward to being able to play the full game myself.
I see nothing wrong with the battle system at all yet.
