Hmm..i used 'yuki' because many people had stereo-typed people with 'yuki' as their name are those who are shy and reserved...i guess even for me,i am quite an introvert, but in my heart,i believe i am somehow bubbly ne =)

Hi!  Well in my case Keru is because my name is Kerube (In spanish my name come from the bible.  You know how the little angels are call Cherubs, in spanish is Querubines so my parents eliminates the Qu and put K insted, they have the same sound, and eliminates the ines.  So that is why I am Kerube).

So, my friends use to call me Keru because is shorter and that is why I used it as my nickname.

This was a really good question, and I enjoy answering it^^
My username is from my manga, that doesn't have a name yet...
She is the main character. Asuka is not from the anime Neon Genesis Envangelion, I dislike that manga/anime.
It was fun to read the other post also^^
that was all from Asuka-chan in ths post^^

On an ephemeral evening, I tell a story to my friend.

Reflected behind my closed eyelids is a sweet field. Dauntless, I embrace you lovingly. I am together with you.

Out of love, I forge a pact with you. Like a breath, the wind will envelop you. You and I will be together wherever we go.

The heart of red will be enfolded in wind and forge the contract.

My codename Aestro is actually the name I go by on the street. I has an epic feel and I was called it in a dream one night. Needless to say Flowright is just to confirm my growing obsession with Fai-chan.

My complete nickname is Mizumi Gintori, but I mostly use just Mizumi or Mizumi-chan.

Mizûmi is Japanese for lake... My previous nickname was Marina Silverwing, because I liked the bat-character Marina from the Silverwing series (by Kenneth Oppel) very much around that time. I used that name in my Sailor Moon fanfiction in the Dutch version, but then I decided to make an English version with more original names... So I grabbed my Japanese dictionary and tried to translate Marina Silverwing. Marina is with water and all that, and Mizumi was a lake, so I chose MIzumi... Silver was gin in Japanese, and I couldn't find wing (of course it's Tsubasa ^_^; eh-heh-heh. But I couldn't know because Tsubasa didn't excist at that time), so I chose tori, meaning bird. So that's how my nickname was born ^_^ And I also use it (in daily life too...) because I think Mizumi sounds cuter than my real name.

My name came from one of those novelty name translators! So Quimmy Bracken is my hobbit name, and I liked Quimmy so much I've been using it ever since!

Thanks babypiggy for the set!! <3

Haha...I've had so many aliases over time...

Time-Machine is a nicknames my soon-would-be friends gave me at the beginning of my freshman year of high school. The story behind it is long, and really boring, but nowadays most people I know call me Time-Machine, even in real life (even my teachers and my parents o.0)

I sometimes went by Amaya no Uta or Utano Amaya or Amaya Uta on different places. Amaya means "nights rain" and Uta means "song" and any combiniation of those two things makes me smile. (if anyone was on Syaoron Bear's Corner a few years ago, that's what I went by, and I used to have a fanfiction.net account under "Utano_Amaya" though I'm not sure if it's still there)

When Time-Machine is taken (which isn't often) then I add "Lives" to the end, as is "Frodo Lives," because the first time I came across Time-Machine being taken I had just watched Lord of the Rings ^_^

Another name I've used once or twice is "Timoleon" which comes from Myth and has "Tim" in it, which is another name people started calling me when they didn't feel like saying "Time-Machine" because that's kind of long.

haha, no one ever calls me by my real name... I guess "Jessica" just doesn't suit me.

Special thanks to Kiramiki for the pic in my siggy and avatar!
