Different spellings of Shaoran's name.

<< < (3/9) > >>

cardcaptor519:
i prefer syaoran

satsuki-chan:
shaolan is just like shaoran. the 'sya' is actually 'sha' but i guess its a old way of spelling it or CLAMP just likes it that way. its only a 'l' because the pronounciation is between a 'l' and a 'r'. but its usually a 'r'.

monkey:
ah oh yes, of course, the good ol "L" and "R" that the japanese have...

but i'm also more associated with Syaoran name

Brad:
Also with the R and L thing, a LOT of Japanese have an inability to establish S and SH as seperate sounds. They might go "shailing in a sip" for example.

Ralea:
Strange...I thought "Shaolan" was for the french....
