Better seiyuu for Sakura

(1/11) > >>

Cherry tiger:
I've realised in this board that there are some who like Tange Sakura and some who don't. And then there are some who like Sakura's new seiyuu... and some who don't.

So make your pick and let's see which is the most favoured seiyuu.

Me? I'm going with Tange Sakura. She may be squeeky and high-pitched, but it's Sakura... she made Sakura stand out among the lot. She made Sakura unique...

Not to say that Yui Makino's really bad or anything. She's good (although a little bit inexperienced) but I suppose Tange Sakura made a great impression on me on Sakura. Meh... so what do you guys think?

Sakaki:
Sakura Tange just IS Sakura to me.
The first time I watched Cardcaptor Sakura I was amazed with her voice.
It was SO different than anything I had heard from an English speaking voice actor.
I guess that's why I can't watch dubs, I've gotten used to the Japanese Seiyuu and expect more than a U.S. voice actor is capable of.

I also love the new Sakura.
I think her voice is very pleasant and sounds like an older Sakura.
I think she's doing very well for all that she has to live up to coming after Sakura Tange.

.::ka::.:
Both are suit to me ^________^ But i will pick Yui Makino because noone pick her :D
Somes say that the new seiyu of Sakura is annoying, but I don't think so... She do great with it :D

Ken-Chan:
anyway i did not even realise there is a change in it until someone told me,which episode did they change and who is the first seiyuu and who is the second

Kurorin:
I don't think it's a fair comparison. Sakura from CCS is not the same character from Tsubasa.  It's not just that their ages (CCS Sakura was much younger), but the direction the story is going.  Also, there could be so many factors that determine why Makino Yui "acts" like that.  The director could be deliberately telling her to speak not too confidently because that's what's appropriate for the character.
