Also, the fact that Yuuko had their clothes.
She must have taken them for a reason, just to sell them back to them.

I assume it was dangerous that they left them, because another Fai, Kurogane, Syaoran or Sakura could have taken them, wore them, and perhaps tricked them?

No, I'm sorry that I wasn't clear

The energy that was trapped in the vault in which I believe has connections to Sakura's power was just simply exposed and released when Syaoran digs an opening at the archaeological site. The energy comes out the moment Syaoran exposes the vault, so even though it was purely unintentional, Syaoran opened the Padora's Box

Huh, it kinda seems like blame on Syaoran for some reason... lol, an accidental one anyway. ^_^;;

It would've been interesting if Syaoran had a connection to that past... OH maybe he does in some way (both Syaoran's i mean) O.O maybe Im getting ahead of myself in random thoughts XD but then i consider what those symbols on the the second Syaoran.... hmm.... *in deep thought*

The two bad guys are named Fei Wong Reed and Xing Huo. The person with the tattoos is definitely another Syaoran, and we're still trying to guess what his purpose might be. That's what this topic is about. ^^;;

I think it might be Dr. Kyle...
He was after Sakura's feather at the beginning, and I don't think he clearly mentioned that he's going to use it to cure children... He just says it's very powerful.
Another thing... So he was smashed by giant boulders, but that doesn't mean he is crushed to death... Maybe he's like Yuuto, who liquefies himself and escapes through the flood. (Whoever is going to spy on Syaoran looks kind of mushy and bonelss.)

Syaoran's looking at his reflection with his RIGHT EYE
He's supposed to be blind on the right eye, which signifies that the other Syaoran is waking up very, very soon... I can't wait.

In my humble opinion, I think that Syaoran 1 has the left eye while Syaoran two has the right eye, that was taken from Syaoran 1 and then he was dumped in the streets, were he was found and adopted by Fujitaka.
The bad guy could have used the eye on another Syaoran he created from the ADN from the eye he took from Syaoran 1 and keep him to use him as a weapon to get Sakura's power afterwards.
It seems that in the mirror image, Syaoran is half looking what he is really looking and in another half what Syaoran 2 was loking....
I think I just confused myself.....hehe

Initially in the series they focused on the idea of "alternate reality versions"
you know...
Like when Touya was a king in clow country but just a humble cook in another?

They never went into explaining why none of these worlds contain alternate versions of Sakura and Shaoran...
I like to think that eventually they will run into an alternate version of a less main charcter (perhaps Kurogan of Fye), and then this will lead onto meeting the other Shaoron...

It is just a question of how they are both different then?
might he be maniacal?
might he be selfish?
or is he just gonna go around drowning kittens? oO
